Why won't Lieberman quit? |
|
He is out of it. If he gets more than 10% in the primaries, I'd be amazed.

I saw that little whiner on Hardball and I was so pissed as him.
He ragged on Kerry - called him Max Headroom (SO last century) and dissed Clark for "suddenly" becoming a dem.

Make Scaife will pay him to write a book on how Democrats are out of step with America.

5. He gets a nice percentage on Gore's coattails from 2000..... |
|
...and he thinks that because of the name recognition from being Gore's running mate, he actually stands a snowball's chance in hell.

He is running AGAINST W's opponents - I am convinced. (remarks on Fux last summer: Democrats give this war a bad name. If they can't show strength on National security THEY DESERVE TO LOSE

Lieberman looks at himself as the "Anointed One". As if he says to himself, hey i was almost VP, these other guys aren't in my league.
It kills him that he is in the lower grouping of the candidates. He doesn't know any other way to react.

has got to be that Dean wins the first few primaries and then there's a backlash and somehow he survives to become the establishment "Stop Dean" choice. It won't work, but maybe it's his hope.
