The Pubs jus don't get it. Our Troops lives should not be needlessly
wasted/risked.

Shoddy equipment from the Mil Ind Complex has a killing effect via the weakest link.

During Nam it was the M16. The first version was shitty. Many wounded, KIAs from a weapon that couldn't.

Then the Bradley, 18 years and 15 billion$$$. They almost pulled it off with a shitty vehicle but luckily, the shortcomings were noted in time. A lot of hanky panky was going on.

What does it take? Don't the Mil INd Complx know its our boys lives on the line?

We taxpayers pay out big bucks for equipment for the troops. You would think the PUBs would make sure its ALL GOOD.

And thats only the equipment.

Number 2, its the direction from the Commanders. From this perch, Bush/Rummy/etc are doing a royal fuck up job. They are using the 9/11, terrorists thingy as an excuse to:

stay in/get more, power,

garner contracts for their friends,

destroy the opposition,

and, run the gov't as they damn well please.

Real Leaders worry about their troops, people, Nation, Planet and our future. Real Leaders do not need photo ops, PR, and brainwashing psyops. When real Leaders walk into a room, Mana is felt. A Force of such a magnitude, you can feel it. When Bush comes into a room, snickers and eye ball rolling occurs.

Under the PUBs, we are but insignificant PAWNS, to be used like a rag, then discarded.

It should be better and it can be... it starts with a simple vote. How cheap.

1. Beautiful, Opi
I couldn't agree more. I'd only argue that when Bush walks into a room, all the intelligence and common sense is instantly sucked out of it. He may live in a bubble, but his bubble infects everyone around him like a strange sickness of the brain and heart.

There is precious little accountability in military procurement contracts. In fact, the incentive is for fraud and good-old boy deals in back rooms. For every repub who says he wants to run government like a business, I say good! Let's start by firing the people who LOST 1 trillion dollars! Whoops! It's just not there anymore! Sorry about that! What business would keep an executive who screwed up so badly? And while we're on the subject - no, no. Don't get me started...

3. Troops are potential profits
not people, see. So, a few die, as long as they are on the battlefield there is money to be made. Better them than me or else who would make money for America.

That's what "they" are thinking.

I was deeply concerned about the 200,000 defective haz mat suits our troops were sent in with. Maybe BiffCo was not concerned because they knew bioweapons were not a threat. So, maybe you should just relax and let the boys in charge run the show...... (Just kidding)

Peace,
Teresa

4. The people who make a living doing weapons for the MILITARY
I wonder how they feel when one of those weapons down a U.S. Chopper, worse yet, one of the casualties is their kin folk...?

Making War is Bad shit.

Sometimes it comes back to bite us.... personally.

War should be the last option.

8. Easier said than done, but, lest we forget: The PUBs, too many of them
refuse to "get it".

""Obstinate, stubborn, rigid, stiff, rock headed, lolo, visionless,
Republicanesque, conservative, hesitant, wimpish"", etc, are some of the comments heard.

There must be a way though, gatta be. Perhaps a search of some sort?
