Bush caught making crap up
The New Republic's latest has these quotes:

"The tradition of free speech exercised with enthusiasm is alive and well here in London...They now have that right in Baghdad as well." Dubya, November 19

"American soldiers handcuffed and firmly wrapped masking tape around an Iraqi man's mouth after they arrested him for speaking out against occupation troops.

Asked why the man had been arrested and put into the back of a Humvee vehicle on Tahrir Square, the commanding officer told Reuters at the scene on Tuesday: "This man has been detained for making anti-coalition statements."

He refused to say what the man said." Reuters

They speak for themself.

1. Sure he is making things up
Edited on Mon Nov-24-03 10:12 PM by Marianne
do you think he cares when he is caught? No way does he care. He wins no matter what he says that is crap. No one notices--and if they do they are punished. He gets away with it, constantly, day by day to the point where those who are paying attention have a job even to keep up with the crap on a daily basis.

I do hope someone with the talent to record and then write about it, is keeping track and some day, as a favor to us all and to this country, will write a book about this evil son of a bitch.

Don't worry, he'll go down in history as a terrible president. The WMD evidence will especially look bad in retrospect.

6. I have to lock this
Please remember the rules for staring topics in the GD forum.

1. The subject line of a discussion thread must accurately reflect the actual content of the message.

2. The subject line of a discussion thread and the entire text of the message which starts the thread may not include profanity, excessive capitalization, or excessive punctuation. Inflammatory rhetoric should also be avoided.

3. If you post an article or other published content which is from a conservative source or which expresses a traditionally conservative viewpoint, you must state your opinion about the piece and/or the issues it raises.

4. If you wish to start a vanity thread (ie: a discussion thread in which the sole purpose is to share your personal opinion) you must state your opinion in a non-inflammatory manner which respects differences in opinion and facilitates actual discussion.

5. You may not start a new discussion thread in order to continue a current or recent flame war from another thread. The moderators have the authority to lock threads in order to contain flaming on a particular topic to only one thread at a time.

Thanks,
