Ok, he didn't mean to, but they had a shot of * petting one of the turkeys he agreed to pardon for Thanksgiving.
While * is standing there with ONE turkey, the announcer says the following:
"Plus, we'll tell you about two very fortunate turkeys in Washington, stay tuned."
You could even hear his voice tremble with laughter because he knew how that looked...

Apparently they have taken to pardoning both turkeys, because people started asking what happened to the second bird (brought in case the designated one had stage fright).
But man, that's pretty funny, hearing it on air! I wonder if the Bushies will complain!
