He's so earnest that she seems to be backing down.

that she did. But.........But.........But trying to stop him like she did to all of them. Whatever happened to having respect and letting someone have their say when you ask them a question? Sheesh, I am glad he kept on talking.

5. Watching Clark's Letterman interview reminded me of that.

Someone asked a question, the other answered. It was a shock to see it.

8. why do our candidates have to answer to these corporate whores anyway?

What gives the right to these *actors* to demean and harrass our elected representatives and candidates? The whole system sucks. The way our candidates - Kucinich, Clark, Dean and the rest - are treated by these mouthpieces for rich people makes me sick.

11. We all know

they are beholden to the corporations who in turn are beholden to BushCo. but this is just complete lack of respect. These people are running for the presidency for goodness sakes and they can't keep their mouths shut for a one minute response. To be fair, though, I left CNN on and Judy is interrupting both the Republican and the Democrat talking about the Medicare bill. It seems to me that the dems are asked barbed questions and the repubs softballs. That could very well be just my perspective. These readers and fake pundits (I am a musician so I can't even refer to them as "actors") need to realize that their jobs, although important, are not supposed to be the show but to facilitate the show. That ended years ago I guess. No respect and no sense in most of them.

and yes I am slightly biased...
but it was a very good interview- he didn't let Judy get him off track or marginalize him.
You could see his "spark" and his sincerity and his great sense of humor!

I am so glad

that you heard it! I would have missed it. He needs to do more of this, and he would if asked. He sounds so good when just talking, sometimes in the debate format people get the idea he is always shrill, and occasionally he does sound that way but when out of that context he sounds so good. Isn't it funny that we all get so excited with a what, 2 minute interview? Bush* 24/7 and dem candidates get so little time. I am so glad you caught this.

How did you like the look on his face when he said women were responding to his positions on the issues, and that they recognized him for that? heh. I could have laid one on him right there. ;)

14. He was good, she's a birdbrain

He lays out the way to get UN cooperation and she says 'that's alot of ifs'. No, that's alot of reality. He was very good when he basically said the UN isn't going to endorse a continued US occupation. I'm glad he got some media coverage, I wish people could hear what he's saying.

17. I noticed...

that he takes a different tone when he talks one-on-one with someone. More calm, measured. I think he would appeal to more people if he took on this demeanor during debates.

21. I agree, but when you only get about 1/5th the time

the other candidates do, I think I would tend to want to get everything out as quickly as I could,too. The debate forum sucks...the most recent was maybe a bit better IMO.

If you thought he was good today...the man totally rocks in person. His energy is tangible...and he really reached people. When you speak with him one on one he shakes your hand, looks into your eyes and you are the only ones in the room...quite an experience!

23. I'll second that

I agree the debate format aint that good but when Kucinich spoke at that church in DC, he was spectuclar, getting a round of applasue before he spoke, and it was a great speech as well, DC's public hospital closed down and local DC activists and good for them are trying to reopen it, and Dennis told us of how that happened in Cleveland as well, and he talked about the importance of libraries in communties, and as an avid reader I must say that is true, libraries are important to a community. That was a great night, I met him that night and for a small guy he has a strong handshake.

I just had to work and I didnt know this about this, and was bummed out. Thanks, have a good thanksgiving yourself. I have had to lift so many turkeys these last couple of days. It's cold out there :( but its good work. Thanks.
