Braun: 'Is this still the land of opportunity?'
Q: Aside from being a woman, how do you differentiate yourself from the other contenders?

A: Let me count the ways. I'm the most qualified of all the candidates in terms of the range and breadth of my experience in government. I'm the only one with diplomatic experience. And I'm one of the few with both state and national electoral experience.

Q: How do you stand out from the pack on specific issues?

A: I have not only endorsed a single-payer health care system, but I also advocate universal, comprehensive care that is not tied to employment. That aspect is very different from the other candidates' proposals. By decoupling health insurance from employment, we will not only give our economy a boost, but help make our export sector more competitive. Right now our export sector has to compete against products from nations that provide health coverage; it's not an aspect of price for, say, Japanese automakers. But a car made in Detroit has $600 to $700 tacked on for the automaker to pay health care benefits.

More... she supports gay marriage, fair trade, and thinks Bush has dropped the ball on Iraq.

5. If she was not tainted with scandals
We should have nominated her as the VP candidate this year IMO. We need to start the walking the walk with respect to women and minorities.

6. What scandals?!!
Really, this is the third time I have seen this. She explained her so-called "Nigeria" scandal before the Senate Foriegn Relations Committee and they seem satisfied. On her website, she is very forthright and provides documentation for all of these "scandals".
