Bumper stickers in your area?
Curious to know whose campaigns you've seen bumper stickers for in your area..

I've seen 1 "I support President Bush and our brave troops" and 1 Bush/Cheney. x(

And, 1 for Kucinich and 1 for Dean. :)

1. YET to see a Bush/Cheney sticker....
See a lot of America is Great (or the like), seen a few Dean, Kerry and Kucinich stickers.

I'm in Salt Lake City.

Oh, I do see a lot of (well not as many as before) Attack Iraq? NO stickers.

11. Sorry to hear that!
I just can't imagine doing that to someone's car just because I don't agree with their beliefs.

I haven't seen many political bumperstickers at all around here (in the desert near Joshua Tree nat. park). We tend to just have either God bless USA, support our troops, etc, or a lot of environmentalist ones. Usually not on the same car!

5. I see mostly
"United We Stand"....American Flag stickers and "Support the Troops." I have yet to see any new political bumper stickers. Except mine...Wesley Clark 2004. :7 I have 3 of them on my car. 2 in the back window and one on a side window and 10 in my glove box to give to any possible convert.

6. Here's a funny one for you...
I live in the south...
Driving home yesterday there was a pickup truck in front of me...
On one side of his bumper he had a rebel flag sticker...
On the other side he had a Kucinich sticker.

Being a Dean supporter myself, I found this a little amusing.

39. Political Schitzophrenia
That reminds me, somebody here has a whole bunch of liberal stickers on their truck, and, get this, a Steve Forbes 2000 sticker. I've also seen a car with a Darwin fish next to a "Rush Is Right" sticker.

No, I don't quite get it either.

Then again, I grew up in the south, and a rebel flag and a Kucinich sticker on the same car wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility there.

Still more Wellstone than anything, but I've seen equal numbers of Dean and Kucinich stickers, as well as one Bush/Cheney sticker.

However, I saw one infuriating one: "Left is theft." One of those anti-tax maniacs undoubtedly.

35. Yeah, "left is theft", what a crock
I've also seen a number of "Happy To Pay For A Better Minnesota" bumperstickers too.

I've seen a fair number of Coleman (Senate) ones, a few Dean ones, exactly one Liebermann sticker, and lately more and more Kucinich stickers, and NOT just at campaign meetings and MeetUps!

13. Southeast TX
So far I've seen three Bush Cheney '04's. In terms of Democratic candidates, I suppose since Texas is so late in the primary process there's not as much interest 'cause I've only seen one- a "Draft Clark" and it was on my college campus. I did see an Al Gore one a few months back; in fact, I had one on my car until he withdrew. The same person who had the Clark sticker had a "Drop Bush Not Bombs" which I got a kick out of. Today I purposely parked my car (with my "Hail to the Thief!" and "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Republican" stickers) next to this massive white pickup that had a "Bush Cheney '04" and a kid pissing on the word "liberals" sticker, but my car survived the day unscathed!

Also, I live right next to Louisiana and got a little worried after seeing three Bobby Jindal stickers and none for Blanco, but I guess the outcome of that race is proof that bumperstickers aren't always the best indicators of outcome.

It's a fairly liberal place. Feels "normal" to me. If only the rest of the country were like Santa Monica.

Hmm, isn't it odd that in one of the most liberal enclaves in southern california it costs a freaking fortune to live here? Why is a liberal town so popular?

18. I've seen Dean stickers everywhere
I live in Vermont but work in New Hampshire and my daily driving route hits the most traffic in NH. I see Dean stickers every day. There are 3 on my small street and 2 on the next street (and a placard in someone's window). I've seen one Kucinich bumper sticker in NH. I haven't seen a single Kerry sticker. I've seen a very few Bush stickers. Oddly enough, even up here the ones with Bush stickers or NRA stickers almost always have Environmental causes bumper stickers too.

19. Lots of Bush/Cheney on cars...right next to American Flag stickers.
Although in my neighborhood there are 3 brave souls who have kept their No War signs up in their windows. A few Dean stickers. That about sums it up, if we are not counting the "Smile, your Mother chose life stickers"

And Regime Change Begins At Home on my car. I haven't noticed a lot of other stickers here (west-central Ohio) but i saw a car with four American flags flying from the roof yesterday. I also saw a younger guy a few months ago with a Bush Cheated sticker on his car.

21. Welcome to DU
Kathleen04...the only stickers that I see here in my QC area along the good ole' Mississippi are "United We Stand" and "Support Our Troops". For that reason, and fear of getting my car keyed, at best, shot, at worst, I keep my VW van, which is covered with such as "Bush Knew", "If you aren't outraged, you aren't paying attention", "Save America...Recall Bush '04", "Democrats are Sexy, Whoever Heard of a Great Piece of Elephant", and "To Our Friends in Florida...Punch Harder" under wraps here in the driveway except on days that I am feeling REAL brave.

No candidate stickers seen as of yet.

Jenn

"Vegan and Proud" (like I give a shit)

"Keep honking - I'm reloading"

37. Technically, Cthulhu is Green.
He is a character in a series of books. He represents extreme evil. The joke is, don't vote for the lesser of two evils; vote for the most evil character you can. And Cthulhu happens to be green in color. Not sure of his political affiliation.

36. Dean, Kucinich, and...
Lots of Dean and Kucinich, and a few Bush. Several months ago a lot of cars had stickers like "Support Bush & Our Troops" but what's remarkable is those stickers are a rare sight lately. Maybe those people had a change of heart. One can only hope.

Other than those three I haven't seen any stickers for any other candidates.

Also sighted locally:

"Bush-Cheney 1984"
"Bu__sh__"
lots of pro-peace stickers

On the negative side:
"Either Get Behind American Troops, Or Get In Front Of Them"

Since I saw that last one on a Toyota, I had to resist the urge to leave them a friendly note calling them on their hypocrisy, you know, something like "hey hypocrite, either get behind American made cars, or..." But I successfully resisted the urge...

I have seen a smattering of Bush/Cheney stickers from 2000. One of my neighbors defiantly still displays her Gore/Lieberman sticker.

Last week I saw a Kucinich sticker.

I have, to date, seen 17 Dean stickers around Dallas, not including the ones in use by my brother, myself, and my best friend.
