duh.
It's the same reason that elections are held in November, not July. Weather and time keep the riff raff away from the polls.

Maybe it seems like everyone is able to vote in that time - so they don't see a problem.
Maybe not enough people ask for it to be changed.

That's also why we don't change our clocks twice a year like everybody else. I think that there's a deep contrarian streak in Hoosiers.

Well, let's start with the Dans... Burton, Coates, and Quayle. Evil embodied. And unfortunately, half the time Evan Bayh isn't much better.
But a state that produced John Mellencamp and David Lee Roth can't be all bad :evilgrin:
