Recall Effort Against Nev. Governor Fails
Not quite LBN anymore, but I never saw this posted. At least it was a right-wing group that failed, so this can't be shown to be yet another example of liberal failings.

CARSON CITY, Nev. - An anti-tax group trying to oust Gov. Kenny Guinn gave up Monday after failing to gather enough signatures to get the recall on the ballot.

Hansen said more than 51,000 signatures were gathered — far short of the 128,109 needed to force a vote next year. But recall leaders listed only three names on their petition with the secretary of state's office Monday. The deadline for signatures was Tuesday.
