1. Why did Kerry bothered to leave Iowa?
Skipping the Medicare, despite the campaign's claim that Kerry's vote was inconsequential, while voting for IWR shows that Kerry is totally out of touch with the American people.

Kerry has been in the Senate for too long!

2. Seems to me it's the 'job' of all Senators to vote...

...but then...that's another story.

- In a way...this vote reminds me of the Iraq war resolution in that Democrats should know that GOPers are going to stuff it with as much pork and 'favors' as possible and use it to further THEIR agenda.

3. Let us also remember
Kerry couldn't be bothered to show up for the Big Oil welfare plan either and it was stopped by a SINGLE vote, this was supposedly one of his pet issues. I'm still undecided overall, but I have ruled Kerry out as one of my choices. With the exception of Kucinich all contenders that currently serve in Congress have been ruled out. Time and time again these four have failed to provide leadership of any kind. Over and over they have NOT served their constituents and when the chips are down often fail to appear at all to do the job they are being PAID to do.

I can not list all of the things kerry has done to disappoint me at this time (in a hurry), but here are a few. The chimp's "war", patriot act, energy plan, john asscrack and gail norton, Medicare. I fully expect the Kerry operatives to savage me for my comments, but I'm just telling ya how I feel. I'm sure I would have no choice but to vote for him in the event he wins the nomination, but he will NOT receive my support in the primary (just to make that point clear).
