Need help with the videos at the Dean site.
I used to go to the page where the videos were online to view. I just chose my player, and the video began. I had tried to download the Dean TV deal, but it never did right.

Last night I saw the Letterman appearance video there, so I clicked the link. It then transferred me to the page where the Wave Express download was. I have a very fast connection, and it just kept on downloading stuff....but no clue as to what.

Now it shows in my programs, it is in the systray. But it does absolutely nothing. Nothing.

Now I can not get back to the page where I used to view videos. Should I just uninstall this program? I read the FAQs, and there is nothing there really.

1. Link?
You might want to empty your Windows cache.

I take you're using IE to view this?

3. I uninstalled the Dean TV.
Now I can view the site you mention. Trouble is the videos don't play like they used to play. I chose the Letterman one and it won't play.

7. I just go to the Windows Media player and click the link below.
The link below the window where the choices are given. It has always worked before.

6. Thanks, glad to know I am not the only one.
That is how I always view the videos I want to see. I had tried the Dean TV before and it just sits there doing nothing. It stopped working last night. Maybe the Letterman segment is being watched a lot.

11. Go here,
http://howarddean.tv/

There should be a choice for Windows Media, a blue link. Then it opens a window. Below the window are different videos available. They used to play right away when you chose one. Nothing happens today.

I get nothing when it downloads Dean TV. There are no options to do anything. If I try to find the page with the videos, it just takes me back to the download.

When I uninstall it, then I can find the videos again.

8. I have been trying to figure that out for weeks now
A computer nerd came over to help install a DVD drive. While he was here, I asked him about internet videos. He told me that recently Real Player, Windows Media and a few others have changed their coding so that you must pay to view. (Purchase their latest bestest versions)

I don't know if that is true, but I haven't been able to view net videos recently, when I had no problen before.

12. I have been viewing videos on the web all week.
For ages, too. It is just this one site. I view C-Span, MSNBC, and CBS videos a lot.
