A Dem HACKER group needs to claim they CAN and WILL steal next election! |
|
This group of expert hackers must claim it will disrupt and alter the results of not only the presidential election, but will target every major Congressional 2004 race - guaranteeing that they will unseat many Congressional Repukes on the way returning control of Congress to the Democrats. Not only should this sort of entity sound credible (perhaps profiled through several publications) as far as possessing the technical means and know how to accomplish this (helped in large part by the John Hopkins/BBV study) - it would be wise to infer that there are many Democratic operatives presently working at Diebold, Sequoia, and every large company offering these electronic voting systems!!
It may very well be that our ONLY hope of having these systems abolished altogether, is to unleash such a threat - convincingly demonstrating to the Repukes that TWO can play at this game - and that any election can just as readily be rigged for a Democratic party victory - as it can be a Repuke victory - and that a virtual army of liberal hackers - is just waiting to go to work!! If this doesn't work to bring about adequate legislation - THAN IT SHOULD BE DONE FOR REAL!!
Should Dems hackers be willing to make a preemptive strike - and "re-rig" otherwise rigged elections that will allow the BFEE/PNAC Mob to pursue their goal of endless war - a goal that will reinstate the draft and perhaps even lead to friggin' WWIII? I'm sure * appeasers like Tommy Daschle would say "no!" Well, I for one, don't quite see it that way (nor would, I am certain, someone like Robert Kennedy). Simply put, a policy of refusing to resort to ruffian Repuke tactics isn't much different than being in a fist fight - in which you've determined from the outset that you're not going to throw any punches! Guess who usually wins in a "fight" like that! The extreme Right banks on the Left being too kind and compassionate to compete with them in their dirty games!! They see our moral "obligation" to fairness and goodness as a liability - a major weakness - not understanding (as Vince Lombardi did) that it is from this moral obligation that were actually derive our SUPERIOR STRENGTH!!
Sometimes it's just inescapable, folks - you've got to roll up your sleeves and kick Hitler and his ilk's ass!! It ain't always pretty - but when you're talking about survival (and we ARE) - you simply do what you gotta do. For self-righteous types who believe that resorting to this type of uncouth, unprincipled action is beneath them - didn't Jesus himself flip over the tables of the Repukes, er, money changers in the temple of Jerusalem, in an absolute rage? If a prince of peace like that can feel compelled to resort to that sort of tactic, who here among us is above having to pursue a morally questionable course in a time of absolute desperation?
At this point in time, AMERICA is unquestionably the nation most in need of liberation. Perhaps an army of computer hackers - real or imagined - could be just the army we need to accomplish this!

Seriously though, this sounds like the last words of a redneck, "Hey ya'll, watch this". There is nothing like advertising criminal activity to get the MIBs knocking on your door.

Fuck that! These people are fucking thieves - and they're using our tax dollars to rule over us like sheep - obliterating the laws of this nation in the process!

7. I thought this was already done. |
|
I remember a short while ago that Bev Harris said a group she knew of had issued a challenge to Diebold saying they could indeed break their code and could adjust the results to any standard chosen. I don't know what the outcome was. I don't think the challenge was accepted but it should have been for everyone's peace of mind.

I would not be surprised if some computer savvy folks have not already practiced. We would never advocate this but as you can see from the practioners at diebold, the art of manipulation has entered the techno world.

.... if it comes down to that, the left will win. Every gifted programmer I've known was a leftist, or at least an anti-rightist :)
I've thought of your scenario myself. There is a problem, and that is that the ability to hack such systems is greatly enhanced by knowledge of their internals. No doubt the flaws and doors in certain systems are now well known, but these doors can be closed and new ones opened and only selected parties informed.
You can bet that heads metaphorically rolled over the accidental disclosures that have happened so far, and that they will happen with less and less frequency. Or will they?

"Every gifted programmer I've know was a leftist, or at least an anti-rightist!"
Precisely my point, D! The great majority are - and that is a fact. Therefore, the Repukes are really messing around in a field in which they are greatly undermanned.

I could be a 95 year-old, deaf, dumb and blind grandmother. Thomas Jefferson (whom I am not comparing myself to) may have authored The Declaration of Independence, but I don't recall any stories about his combat record in the Revolutionary War, do you? Do you make the same knock against Lincoln? Why that coward never fired a shot in the entire Civil War! This isn't about ME, for christsakes - this is about the fact that our elections are now being friggin' RIGGED - our democracy being destroyed!
