Hillary finally acknowledges 2008 Presidential ambitions
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/11/27/1069825852543.html

Asked by Bunte magazine why she was not standing in 2004, a race already well under way, the New York senator said she was happy with her job.

But people are disappointed she was not competing, she was told.

"I know. Well, perhaps I'll do it next time around," she replied.

The former First Lady to Bill Clinton has already repeatedly denied she was contemplating standing for the Democratic nomination for next year's election, although that has not stopped the speculation.

1. Will she really want to challenge Gephardt for the nomination?
Or whoever beats Bush?

4. I wish our candidates would wake up
and flex some muscle to keep her out of the campaign if that's her strategy. We can't risk another 4 years of * or there's won't be a Democratic nomination left for her in 2008!

6. "Next time around" doesn't necessarily mean 2008
If the Democrats win in 04 then next time around won't be until 2012 but it will still be next time around. Pay attention to what is said not what you think she meant.

7. oh fer crissakes people nowhere does she mention 2008
she says "maybe next time around" only those who assume a dem loss read 2008 into that. (im using the above article as the reference and this quote in particular from the article: "However, she is widely thought to hold ambitions for the 2008 race." ).

Is there anything wrong with her having presidential ambitions? No. Stop bitching about her and start supporting your candidate.

8. Misleading headline exposes your agenda more than it does Hillary's.
