I have two websites for you. One is the best PNAC source I have found.
I did a speaking gig in Albany a couple of weeks ago. While I was there, I met a scholar who has traced the roots of PNAC all the way back to the Truman administration. He put it up on his own small website here:

http://buddhistpeacegroup.org/pnac/

Don't let the URL fool you. That might be the most important site on the web. You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes. Prepare to have your mind blown. I'm going to use that one site to write a whole book.

Here is the other site:

http://www.thefourreasons.org/

Amazingly well-prepared resource. Please keep this thread kicked.

3. William Schneider, PNAC signatory = Bill Schneider of CNN?
LMAO! I knew he's part of the AEI but a PNAC signatory as well...its great to know that these people have members infiltrating the major media.

Anyhow, thanks for the resources. I'm going to link to them from my two sites.

20. You must be kidding.
If not, its quite well known here that he's a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (basically PNAC's big brother), yet the CNN bio doesn't mention that either.

They also don't mention on Paula Zahn's bio that she's a Bush apologist media whore with a plastic face thats clearly about to fall off, who deserves to be right back on Fox where her Republican ass belongs. You see, they tend to be rather selective in their anchor biographies.

12. NED
I feel like a lone conspiracy theorist but Ive made several posts at DU about NED and the ties that it has to the voting scandal,PNAC, etc.

NED is the daddy think tank and PNAC, Heritage, etc spawns from it.

I urge you strongly to give it a serious look and the member ties to October sunrise, corporate buddies, etc.

You could search for my previous posts if interested for just the tip of the iceberg.

Nobody would even touch the links or information, given, Im a horrible organizer of information.. but it all stinks.

I am too poor for a gold star and did not have the ability to use the search feature.. now that Im back at my home computer, here you go.

I spin off into CNS and Heritage a couple of times and throw a gratuitous Rick Sanatourum link in, but I think it gives some background on who the people running NED are, what it's background is... what type of programs it participates in.. etc. The confusing part is how all these think tanks are linked together, its hard to know where one ends and the other begins.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=674299

If you think about the Regan Doctrine and why NED was started, you will see that PNAC is simply an offshot, Bush's baby think tank for his almost plagarized doctrine.

Here is a link to a Bush speech at NED, where he gives a more detailed speech about what the hell is actually going on in the Middle East then Ive ever heard him give to we, the people... but he tells NED.

Here is some of a breakdown of Ned's members:

Wes Clark
"Former general, possible Democratic presidential candidate, and Segway rider Wesley Clark on why the military usually gets the money it needs while foreign aid, for example, usually loses out: "In the Defense Department, we've got the machinery. When we want something done we just make sure the B-2 Bomber is built in 49 states."

He joined Ned in 2001

Some more on Wesley and NED
http://la.indymedia.org/news/2003/10/88388.php

Clark praised Reagan for improving the military:

“We were really helped when President Ronald Reagan came in. I remember non-commissioned officers who were going to retire and they re-enlisted because they believed in President Reagan.” Clark continued: “That’s the kind of President Ronald Reagan was. He helped our country win the Cold War. He put it behind us in a way no one ever believed would be possible. He was truly a great American leader. And those of us in the Armed Forces loved him, respected him, and tremendously admired him for his great leadership.” (Ibid.)

Clark on President George H.W. Bush:

“President George Bush had the courage and the vision... and we will always be grateful to President George Bush for that tremendous leadership and statesmanship.” (Ibid.)

Another measure of the Center's impact is the implementation of its research as policy. President George W. It just leaves me spinning when I read all the information, I can barely tell which way is up and its all so intertwined and inbred. And then, when you get ass deep in links because you have been reading the information, sometimes the path gets convoluted..

Ill try to get something more concisive together. But if one can wade through any of this, I think they may get some of the picture that I do.

33. Yay!!!
You made my week.

Id love to hear your thoughts once you wade through them.

My opinion is that the think tanks truly are our government's outsourcing agency.. for instance, the CNS linked in that thread and the author of the plagerized thesis that Powell originally used as a reason for going to war. CNS is linked to NED, but besides that, the guy wasnt a student and the "school" is actually something akin to an intellectual school of the americas.. look at it's website.

Anyway, food for thought.

Im also open to being a tinfoil hat wearer. But the list of people that currently sit on the board at NED that I did outline are, for the most part, shady creatures... one has to wonder how NED cant be rotten with all dem apples.

Clark supporters like to post 10 good things that NED did in the last 20 years, when the incomplete list of its members shows more then 20 bad things that the current people in power have done.

Im not after Clark, Im just really scared that we are looking at two faces of the same beast. I really would love to be proven wrong. It would make the world seem alot less screwed up. It would make hope alot more easy to grasp.

I also think that one has to understand the whole Reagan link and the similarities between his religious leadership, his doctrines.. how he felt he was chosen and saved by God, just like GW.. to see amazing similarities with Bush and the cycle that seems to be repeating with PNAC. You also have to look at the sister organizations like the Heritage group and many others.

Anyway, thanks for giving it some thought.

Ill stop hijacking WRP's thread. Im sure that when this web is fully unspun it will be enough to write 20 books about, PNAC is just the beginning.
