Dubya: a slightly over-the-top psychological analysis |
|
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1033904,00.htmlAll the children's games, be they tiddlywinks or baseball, were intensely competitive - an actual "family league table" was kept of performance in various pursuits. At least this prepared him for life at Andover, where emotional literacy was definitely not part of the curriculum. Soon after arriving, he was asked to write an essay on a soul-stirring experience in his life to date and he chose the death of his sister. His mother had drilled it into him that it was wrong when writing to repeat words already used. Having employed "tears" once in the essay, he sought a substitute from a thesaurus she had given him and wrote "the lacerates ran down my cheeks". The essay received a fail grade, accompanied by derogatory comments such as "disgraceful".AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

1. something I've noticed about Bush is mentioned here . . . |
|
"Even when his mouth seems to be smiling at you, you can feel his eyes watching you."
There's something very disconcerting about watching George Bush smile. Most people smile with their entire face; Bush smiles ONLY with his mouth, while the rest of the face remains disengaged, on guard, or even hostile. This trait is indeed most noticeable in his eyes. Watch him closely the next time you see him smiling; the mouth may be expressing pleasure (real or feigned), but the eyes are simultaneously expressing something entirely different, something almost sinister and, at times, deeply hateful. It's like the smiling mouth is operating entirely independently of the rest of his face. The impression this conveys, of course, is that the smile is fake (which it undoubtedly often is), and I think that one of the many reasons people dislike this guy so vehemently is that it's impossible to trust his smile. And if you can't trust someone's smile, is there anything about him you CAN trust?
Just a personal observation . . . take it for what it's worth (probably not a whole lot). . .

2. i think you are totally right... |
|
My brother thinks he's got eyes like a shark, dead eyes, to be specific. I think he may even have sociopathic tendencies (okay, i need to head to the conspiracy theory thread, i know!), but what I mean by that is he has absolutely ZERO empathy, claims of being the "Chief Hugger" to the contrary.
I doubt he has a kind bone in his body. At least, I've never heard of any tales of George's compassion for his fellow man, have you?
He's too much of a control-freak to be nice. That would require him giving up something.
