She sounded so sincere saying she's mailing heating/air-conditioning units to our troops in Iraq. She saying her son is over there and she's mailing "Christmas Trees" inspite of "religious concerns." She says the company that makes our soldiers boots are supplying the WRONG boots and they don't have "ripple soles" so she's trying to send the correct boots!
I'm think OMG! This woman is an ANGEL! She's exposing the "fraud" of Shrubby and his military support. She looks about 30 but she says she has a son over there.....she's got Buchanan and Press in a dither over how bad the troops are suffering for "lack of proper equipment."
She has me onboard....I check out the website she gives.....don't get anything but some "chatroom site." I then put her name in a "Google Search" and come up with this! Is she an angel or operative.....that's the question. A RUSH site comes up in "Google" under her name. Has Rush had a transformation after his "druggie" intervention.....or is Mayo for real? Any Rush listeners out there who know the truth of this?

What I first want to focus on here is an unbelievable story. In addition to everything else that our troops face from the remnants of Saddam's regime, they face the searing heat in Iraq. Temperatures on some days have been recorded as high as 130 degrees. And this story started typically and innocently enough. A housewife in Delaware named Frankie Mayo has a son who's in Iraq, and he wrote her a letter describing the searing heat, describing the temperatures and the practically inhumane conditions that they all face, so she sent him a single air-conditioner. And that one act of sending her son in Iraq an air-conditioner has now changed her life, because since that air-conditioner arrived, Frankie Mayo has been deluged with requests from other troops for air conditioners, so Frankie Mayo got in gear. And she organized OperationAC.com
to provide air conditioners to as many soldiers as possible. She's a former systems engineer, so she did a feasibility study, and she got a little support from the Home Depot and others to get the units, the air conditioners packaged for shipment.
Now, so far, she has successfully sent 400 air conditioners to the troops in Iraq. Now, let me ask you a question at this point. This is the United States of America. The most powerful nation on earth, the most prosperous nation on earth. At this point in the story, are you a little surprised that, with our defense budget being what it is, $300 billion with more being added on because of this war in Iraq, are you surprised to hear that an individual citizen is arranging for air conditioners to be sent to the troops in Iraq? I will admit that I was. But then I got to thinking about it, and after I thought about it, I said I'm not surprised. In fact, this is very typical, and, in fact, this is yet another great example of what we're always talking about on this program. If you wait for the government to take care of your needs, forget desires, if you're waiting for the government to take care of your needs, you're going to be waiting the rest of your life. The government just can't do it regardless of the amount of money we send them, regardless the size of the federal budget, the federal government simply can't take care of the needs of the citizens of this country. It's having a tough time taking care of the needs of its own troops in battle in combat in Iraq. So Frankie Mayo has sent over 400 air conditioners already to Iraq; she has over 500 additional units ready to be shipped, to make a total of just over 900 air conditioners sent to Iraq because of the acts of one American citizen.
