If Zell Miller was nominated to run against junior, would ya vote for him?
I had a dream last night that I was in a room with Hillary Clinton, she was crying and in between sobs Hill said to me, "I have bad news for you 0007, the democratic party wants Zell Miller to run for the presidency of the United States."

It was a soul stirring dream, I think!

2. That wasn't a dream, that was a nightmare!
It also means that Bush had to liquidate or neutralize all 8 candidates currently running for the Presidency.

Canada here we come!

If Satan won the Democratic nomination, I would strongly consider voting for him against Bush.

(Cthulu in 2004; why vote for the lesser of two evils?)

12. Zell miller, yes. Dennis Miller, no.
IMNSHO the thing that makes Bush such a disastrous pResident is that he has no actual beliefs, other than that God put him there to fight Terra (which he believes is like fighting Satan: you pray, and you sign a check, and somebody else actually does it). Other than that, Smirky has no moral compass at all. He can't see what's wrong with a country owned and operated by Wal-Mart and General Electric. And he thinks (God help us) that killing people is kinda cool-- one of his favorite perks when he was Governor.

In contrast, I think of Zell as an old-style Southern Democrat, as in the era before Lyndon Johnson held everybody's feet to the fire of civil rights. And I don't think he's prepared to evolve much beyond that-- but I do believe there's a limit to how low he'd stoop; he's not so obviously bought and sold as the Repukes.

15. No. I would vote Green Party...
The Party owes just as much, or more, allegiance to its supporters as the supporters owe to the Party. There is a limit to how much crap any person can take. If Zell Miller were the candidate, he would not deserve the vote of one Democrat.

Green for me. Just because someone has a (D) after their name doesn't make them acceptable. I can stomach some compromise, some "political necessity", but not when it comes to selling their souls for expediency at the cost of lives.

A vote for Zell Miller is a vote for Bush.

27. There are reasonable limits to political pragmatism: IOW, Hell No
And I am one of those who would hold their nose and pull a lever for Lieberman, if it were necessary.

If by some bizarre fluke Zell suddenly became the nominee (I would have to assume without popular support--which is supposed to be impossible, but, hey, we're talking about an unrealistic hypothetical), I'm certain the vast majority of Democrats (even most of the more conservative Dems) would vote for an independent liberal candidate.

Right now I am playing (it's my job, actually I am filling in) a "best" of Hannity right now and they are speaking with Miller. He's a right winger in Dem clothing, plain and simple. The ass kissing bewtween Miller, Hannity and Gingrich is nothing more then a big puke fest.
Hannity just said his mission is to foloow the Zell Miller truth squad or something to that effect. Hannity jhas a link to Millers book.
It's reall revolting to hear, trust me.
