4. Chick Tracts Rock!!!

They are so badly written, badly drawn, poorly thought-out, and stupid that they make for fantastic entertainment! I used to find them all the time in the pockets of clothes I try on!!

8. How do they explain Santa Barbara, Santa Fe, etc.?

I think santa means saint in Spanish, as in Saint Claus. Saintly and satanic have opposite meanings, of course.

9. You have to remember Fundies think Catholics are evil

Statues, saints etc. are a thing of the devil to them.

Here in Brazil, one of those nutcase TV preachers, circa 1996, kicked a Virgin Mary image on air, shouting "see, this is a false god!". This being a country with a HUGE number of Catholics (more than any other country in the world), you can imagine how well that went with everybody except evangelical whackos.

Thay'd blow up the Jesus statue on Corcovado hill, Taliban-on-Buddah style, if you let them (excellent visit for any tourist, by the way). And the governor of the state of Rio is one of those. I want to cry.
