CA leader Stephen Harper fired MP Larry Spencer for making extremely homophobic slurs and calling for the recriminalisation of homosexual behaviour.

Republicans, on the other hand, were fellating Santorum when he made even more offensive remarks.

Now I see why our FMR fascists find the CA too moderate, even if I usually find them to be nothing more then the GOP's Canadian ass piece.

The reaction to Larry Spencer's remarks illustrate the difference between Canada and the US perfectly. These remarks have given the Reform-Alliance an even bigger political black eye. Republicans saying such things get exactly the opposite reaction.
