2. Whoreraldo Rivera ,Fox's Afgan inbed, tells viewers that troops were more
more excited about their turkey feast than with Hillary.

He tried to butt into her meet and greet with the troops, which she politely gave him the brushoff.

3. Because they weren't too enthused
with Hillary Clinton means they were wrong? She has never had a connection with the military. If I am wrong please show me. But she "loathed" the military and we don't have short memories.

Before I get flamed, understand that I am a military member with a proud servcie record with not too much room for B.S. from politicians Dem or Repub.

6. I won't flame you
but to my knowledge Hillary never said anything about "loathing" the military. Neither did her husband, for that matter. That's a misinterpretation of what he wrote in that draft letter. He talked of people in his generation who loathed the military; he did not use that phrase to describe his perspective. BTW, if the troops cared more about the dinner than meeting Hillary, I don't have a problem with that. I can imagine a Thanksgiving dinner is a great respite for them.

Hillary, like many of us has stood against war but I don't remember her saying that she loathes the military. You probably let Rush put that thought in your head. He loathes Hillary and Bill. It's a kind of word that Rush would use to influence his dittoheads.

20. Rightwingers are too stupid/lazy to do 5 minutes of research...
...they would much rather swallow LIES that a drug addcit tells them to believe, just like Rush swallows narcotic pills (or does he inject his "heroin like" drugs??)

they've got the best pot going also. Instead of a traditional thanksgiving dinner, rush and his followers prefer to have oxy parties. They think by saying and doing things over and over, their lies are going to be believed by the people. Hang em high/dry!

35. Have you been living in a cave??? Rush is a heroin addcit.
You really need LINKS for this? Where have you been?

Whether he injected his black-market narcotics alone, or with friends is not really an issue, is it??

He was spending $9,000 at time on the street-pills, so you be the judge- was he doing ALL these drugs, or was he sharing them???

38. Who knows what narcotics his "followers" do- Rush does abuse hard drugs
Your point is that we cannot prove his "followers" are all heroin freaks?

Fine. Point taken. I believe it was a joke.

I think he was trying to say that you MUST be fucked up on hard, "heroin-like" drugs to even RELATE to Rush. Hard drugs DO turn people into lying hypocrites, so perhaps it takes a certain amount of intoxication to SWALLOW obvious lies...

Rush IS hooked on smack though, and his "followers" who hung on his every drug-induced word must feel pretty silly.

29. He was probably injecting his narcotics...
...one cant spend $9,000 on balck-market narcotics,on up to 20 occasions, and still get high by orally taking pills...

I doubt the lining of even Rush's cast-iron stomache could handle that-

Most heroin addcits eventually "graduate" to needles, just as the coke feind degenerates to "free base" or "crack"

you COULD say that the "brainwashing" was quite effective, couldn't you?

a lie, repeated to infinity while you were in the military, and you still believe it.....

and many wonder why we civilians do not always blindly support every military venture.

I am active duty myself, and NEVER have I heard her or President Clinton say anything bad about the military. Nor did they attempt to cut my pay or my benefits as both Bush Jr., Bush Sr., and St. Reagan have.

My freind, you have been listening to too much Reich Wing Propaganda.

19. Care to link that slander against Clinton for us???
Edited on Thu Nov-27-03 09:12 PM by Dr Fate
Or is it just another LIE that Rush told you to believe whilst high on "heroin-like" narcotics...

It's funny how RWingers either purposley LIE about Clinton, or they are too stupid to do 5 minutes of research to find out that a chronic drug addict has been lying to them.

Which one are you???

You say: "If I am wrong, please show me."

Why dont you first SHOW US that she even said that??? That is like saying "prove you do not beat your wife"...Typical Rush/Drug addict tactics...

30. Fair. But do you say the same when bush uses the
military for photo-ops? He doesn't have much of a connection with the military either. For instance, when we were at war in Viet Nam, he was mostly AWOL and then he had the affrontery to request an early discharge so that he could go to graduate school full time. Don't take my word for it. See this... Then please let me know what you think.

5. found one
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/11/27/world/main585901.shtml

(AP) U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Thursday that more soldiers are needed to fight stepped-up attacks by Taliban militants, during a visit to assess Afghanistan's security and enjoy a Thanksgiving Day meal with American troops.

snip

In all, about 50 American soldiers ate turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie with Clinton and Reed. Some said that while they missed their families at home, they gave thanks that far fewer American soldiers are dying in Afghanistan than in Iraq.

Clinton, who represents New York State, met at Bagram with members of the 10th Mountain Division, which is based in Fort Drum, New York. She later was to travel to another U.S. base in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar for a Thanksgiving dinner there, too.

36. This attitude will do more harm than good
For every person that connects with the term "resident" it pisses off two Americans that resent the sour grapes four years later. I have seen and heard enough swing voters comment on the uselessness of living in the past to know that the future is where it's at - not the past.
