CNN: Howie Kurtz is making sense? |

Talking about the "Media Angle" on the Bush-Iraq visit.
Admits that the press was 'gushing' today. Also mentioned that how the lies, decepion, etc involved in the trip have upset a lot of reporters....said they were used by the WH
Also said that once the 'glow' wears off and if troops keep getting killed, there will be even more questions......
----------
Of course that said, the press will kiss *'s ass.
On Edit: Hmm, isn't this why Tapper started on the Gore bashing? Because he got left on an airplane or something? Hmm.....

Bush is such a tool and they are so blind. I don't get it.

3. he made some good points |
|
said that some in media were angry that bush had basically deceived them for a photo op...
also that some reporters had to be in on it and essentially lie to their colleagues...

4. The official line should be... |

Why did you need photographers to be in on it if it wasn't a photo-op?

6. I/m watching the whole thing on CSPAN now |

the chimp is serving that turkey platter as I type.
they even have a huge, sculpted (out of dough?) cornucopia as part of the spread. tell me they have those all over Iraq.
what a horrid way to end the day.
Letterman had a great joke about it though:
"President Bush flew to Baghdad today to have Thanksgiving Dinner with the troops.....a thousand dollars a plate!!!!"
