Here comes Bush's "charm" offensive
We are to forget what he has done to date: Destroy the social safety net, transfer wealth to the top 1%, blow out the environment, engage in aggressive war based on lies, accuse those who disagree of treason, encourage corporate transgressions, lie, cheat, steal. Just like in 2000, here comes Mr. "Compassionate Conservative," the warm hearted bastard who, with Rove and Cheney, look to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people yet again, as evidenced by his trip to Iraq. And when (if) he gets a second term, the fangs will come out like we have never seen in American history. Will the American public buy it? Probably. God help us all. And, help ourselves, by continuing to call this crap for what it is.

scary thought. Considering what he's done this term, just think what he could/would do as a lame duck president.

3. Here's what I think (no one asked me, I know)
I think the Democratic Party needs to hit hard on Bush's record in their campaign ads. Stress the 3 million+ jobs lost. The massive deficits. The complete disregard for the environment. The arrogance in foreign policy. The trampling of civil liberties.

And, meanwhile the Democratic Presidential nominee, offers his or her positive vision, message and platform to make this country a better place. To say "We want our country back. We want our country, based on the most noble of ideals as brought forth by the Founding Fathers, back. And with the help of the American people in this election, we can begin work to accomplish that"
