2. I blasted them yesterday
I fired off an email yesterday telling them we need an alternative to FOX, not 24 hours of RNC propagnda, nor DNC for that matter. How about some news? How about at least getting the facts straight?

5. Tweety was saying Hillary's trip was PR
Lawrence O'Donnell correctly pointed out that it's her fucking job, she's a U.S. Senator, on the Armed Services Committee, if the others on the committee don't do the same they're not doing their jobs.

The difference b/w her trip and his is that she will accomplish something real, she will deliver a report when she comes back.

6. Keep In Mind, This Is How The News Networks Keep Eyeballs On The Screen
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 01:58 PM by mhr
When the Fairness Doctrine in public broadcasting was revoked by Reagan, Networks where no longer required to broadcast news in the public interest.

We are all seeing the logical conclusion of this unraveled policy.

In a for profit world, the news organizations must generate profit via revenue.

How, advertising! American eyeballs respond to Bush news tripe and hence this is what we get to motivate those eyeballs to look at the ads.

You want things to change, reinstate the fairness doctrine and spread control and ownership of media to a larger group.

She was in Afghanistan right up through Thanksgiving, where the 'war on terra' is supposedly being fought, and she was planning on going to Baghdad LONG before the Chimp sneaked in there.

You won't see the chimp anywhere near Afghanistan, and she didn't follw him into Iraq, HE PRE-EMPTIVELY struck, that rat bastard fucker.

And I admire her for it.

The prez is like the guy who jumps into view behind a news reporter at a football game and starts waving his hand and jumping up and down.

19. They do have marketing skills
when are we gonna use our truth in advertising to market the truth and beat them with their own offense. It's time to play just like they do. Truth will keep us from having to lower ourselves. But truth will send them to the ground. Watch where the negative shit comes. Nobody on our side has been stupid enough to play into their bush bashing trip trap. but they are picking and pecking every word, facial expression, tone, or hair do, just to find hint of us being bush bashing exploiting Presidental Candidates. We're under microscope, and that's keeping them unaccountable for Truth.

They will have to answer to us, if we become the broken records they are. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, question, after question after question. And keep bringing them back to being on the defense. After all they are the ones doing all the dirty shit.

We have Treasongate, that's from the whitehouse. Who do they switch focus to? The innocent victims of their CRIME. The crime gets pushed aside, which gets the focus and anger, and heat, on the ones that didn't do nothing but tell truth.

Divert whatever they divert with truth. Repeat Repeat Repeat. Someone will begin to hear us. And we don't have to steal their memos or do like they do, which now they want to focus on contents of memo to keep the focus on how we're trying to beat w. Well hello, what's so wrong with wanting to beat bush when your a democrat? That, a stupid issue. The issue is the stolen memo THAT is the crime. Keep them in line don't defend being out to defeat w. That's what all parties do (in legal ways this is possible) course, they can't do legal battle with truth or issues.

20. Why even bother?
Fox, MSNBC and CNN have been so thoroughly discredited that you won't find any useful information-just spin, spin, spin.

If you got access to the net you can just catch the headlines.

I couldn't figure out the hasty ill concieved nature of this visit, nor its amazingly short and limited range.

Hillary's itenerary has been known for weeks.

They HAD to get there before her, didn't they?

why do you think Shrub made the trip in the first place? CNN only happy to oblige, EVEN THOUGH their reporting team was kicked off the island.

Who the hell knows with CNN...they're a shell of their former selves.
