Have you been able to influence any voter to come over to your candidate?
Before our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, I was able to educate three of my neices who are now old enough to vote. I asked them if they had any idea who Gen Clark was. I could tell by the looks that they hadnt, so I proceeded to tell them who he was and what he had done in his life. Afterwards they seem kinda impressed . I told them how to register and vote. I also told them the horrible things I would do to them if they didnt vote for Clark. They ran away screaming. But I believe theyll vote for my guy, if they know whats healthy for them.

1. The real question is
What did you tell them to do if Clark is not the nominee?

3. Me? I've got half a dozen Deanies under my belt,
including my Nixon-loving Republican mother. A couple more are on the fence. One likes Gephardt, believe it or not.

4. More and more
Dem friends are turning from Dean to Clark; Republican family from Bush to Clark. Amazing how Clark can appeal to both, isn't it? My ex-Marine brother and I agree on a candidate for the first time since the Vietnam War. But only after I bought him Clark's book. The funny thing is both groups were sure I'd be for Dean. Fooled everybody.

7. my dad switched his party registration so he could vote for Dean…
although the nominee is likely to have been determined by the time he gets to vote in the (NY) primary.

my grandmother (who lives in Florida) was leaning towards Lieberman but after we spoke several times on the subject and she did some research she's now an active (as far as senior citizens go) Deaniac.

8. Yes.
I've brought in about 15 Deanies without breaking a sweat. I'm on to the next round now, looking to get another 20 within the next month ... signed up, committed and donating.

I talk a lot....
and when you are selling a great candidate, it's easy....

Plus I send my list of 379 (thus far, as my next bible studies is Dec 1st) emails to keep them up on all things Clark......

Just doing my duty in getting Bush out of the White House!

17. "converted" ? I'm about to puke...
I am still hoping this is a joke... This sounds as scary as the people who follow GWB... Perhaps you did not mean to use that word.. I hope not, because we certainly don't need more of the "converted" types in this country... We need people who can think rationally...

10. Minimum of 10 for Kucinich.
Only one of them had already picked another candidate to support, however. They loved Kucinich's platform.

12. I've focused on having Republicans not vote for Bush
so I haven't promoted a particular Dem so much as I have focused on having people consider ANY of the Dem candidates over Bush.

13. Yes. Quite a few.
But then again with a candidate like Clark it's really not to difficult.

16. 9+ for Dean so far...
These are people who most likely would not have voted in the primary. 2 or 3 of them would probably not have voted in the general.
