Draft Buchanan?
There is a ton of anger among conservatives about free trade, non-white immigration, and affirmative action. A Buchanan candidacy would siphon a significant share of votes from Bush and help us in 2004. Hence, should we start a draft Buchanan movement?

2. I have been arguing this for months.
Surely there are some disaffected right-wingers out there who are disillusioned with Bush. I don't agree nor care for Pat Buchanan but I would love to see him join the race just to whittle Bush's support!

3. The repukes know that bush is still their best chance in 2004.
They will not screw up that deal.

4. Many on the far right are upset with him
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 08:43 PM by _Jumper_
The vast majority of Republicans will support him but many on the far right would not if Buchanan ran. Bush has not delivered for them on the issues they care the most about, such as immigration, affirmative action, free trade/globalization.
