Dean Also Makes a Play for South Carolina....
"Howard Dean is coming to SC next Sunday. He will be at the Clarion Town House Hotel at 12:30 on December 7th. The hotel is located at 1615 Gervais St. Jesse Jackson Jr will also be there."

link at : blog.deanforamerica.com

It looks like Dean's also looking to make a showing in South Carolina and the official endorsement of Jesse Jackson Jr ought to help things along since Dean gained two points in the recent SC poll. Looks like Clark or Edwards better not take SC for granted. ;-)

1. Clark and SC
SC is not essential for Clark because he leads in several other Super Tuesday states.

6. You must have done well in Snide School
The showing where Clark is 15% and Dean 9% with MOE 4%? That showing? Or maybe you like the "Unfavorables" - Dean 23%, Clark 13%.

"John Edwards leads in favorability and is followed closely by Joe Lieberman, Dick Gephardt, Wesley Clark, and Howard Dean. Wesley Clark continues to have the lowest unfavorable rating."

But that would take a link and that might be playing fair, and who knows?, could shake up the great frontrunner myth. :scared:

10. in all fairness…
Clark's "movement" was within the MOE, as was Dean's.

8. with the exception of the new ARG South Carolina poll…
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 07:11 PM by pruner
Dean is in the lead (IA, NH, MA, NY, VT, MI) or 2nd place (CT, FL, DE, NC) in every poll that's come out in the past month.

he was in 2nd place (behind Edwards) in the Feldman Group SC poll that came out earlier this week.

he's also leading in every national poll that's come out in the past month.

I would hardly say his frontrunner status is a myth.

12. Slinkerwink ...
... you seem sort of obsessed with Clark. What is the deal? I haven't decided to support anyone yet, I actually like all our candidates although Dean is not my favorite. But every Clark thread I see, you end up making some snide comment ....

13. not every Clark thread.....
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 07:09 PM by slinkerwink
besides, I'm not obsessed with Clark, just pissed off at how pushy his supporters are. But then, the same case can be made for me. It's just natural defense of a candidate----I see it like a football game, except I'd prefer for my team to win.

Plus, Clark's callous comment about Dean's skiing on the same day that Dean was retrieving his brother's body forever turned me off to Clark.

11. Of course he's going to make a play for SC
He's often said he'll not discount any state, nor take any for granted. I take him at his word.
