Reagan on the dime?! This is a joke right?
heard this mentioned on Crossfire


WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Mark Souder wants to put former President Ronald Reagan in everyone's pocket.

The Indiana Republican is drumming up support in Congress for a bill to replace Franklin D. Roosevelt's profile on the dime with Reagan's.

Souder said it's particularly fitting to honor Reagan on the dime because "Reagan was wounded . . . by a bullet that had ricocheted and flattened to the size of a dime," he wrote his colleagues.

So far he's enlisted 80 backers.

FDR was one of our greatest presidents! Reagan was an utter failure. Why not just put Reagan on the penny, since they're just about useless anyway (like St Ronnie, himself)?

Fuck them if they try to do it!
