Potential negative fallout for Bush from the press. . .
. . .the successful trip to Baghdad has the press on guard. Dana Bash just started a story with "President Bush is in Crawford, so we are told." It is very likely that there might be some times that the press will start really start questioning the truthfulness of the White House.

3. CNN really pushing the "coward" angle...

Seems pretty obvious how angry they are, but at least the negative view is getting out there. They played up the Iraqi view and also stated how this could enrage some to take it out on the troops... hmmm...I don't think Bush really wants to piss CNN off...too late maybe...oh well...

2. I wish somebody would ask him
how much the trip cost and how many flak jackets the money could have bought. Injured troops are being warehoused and this asshole and his entourage are flying over there for a 3 hour photo op. There had damned well better be polical fallout.

5. CNN's just pissed off they weren't chosen to be on the plane
and now they're whining like little kids.

They should be pissed. They're as big of whores as Fox.

6. Brown's sub, Lin (?) was interviewing a reporter from Al-Jazeera and
he was explaining how this trip was basically going to provoke hostility because Bush ignored the Iraqi people...and didn't have an invitation to come to a sovereign nation......going just to the troops really could hit a raw nerve.

Lin exclaimed, off camera, "Gee, the Bush Admin. maybe didn't think of that!" (sic)

And you know....they didn't!
