1. I won't give him the ratings. And I encourage other people
not to do so as well. I used to listen and get irritated, but why add to his already inflated balloon head with ratings. :)

2. I was intraffic and listened for five minutes
a few weeks ago. He accidentally called the "circuit court" the "circus court" (he was slurring). His message was hard to follow. Turned it off. He seemed to enjoy saying "strategery".

4. The Ninth Circuit Court....
..he started calling the "Circus" court after the infamous Pledge of Allegiance decision. He might have been slurring, but he usually says that one on purpose.

3. I have never listened to him.
I don't even know if he's on here. But what I'm wondering is how his advertising revenue is doing. A few days ago somebody posted that he was playing a lot of his old tapes during commercial breaks. If his advertisers are pulling out, he's dead meat no matter what happens with his legal problems.

5. Why would anyone with an ounce of sense

listen to a bloated, drug hazed hypocrite? And I heard that he still has the nerve to say that he only tells the truth when he has been lying and committing crimes against society for so many years now.

His back hurts, my ass. Everyone's got an excuse but not everyone tells the world to think of druggies as lower than dirt, and that they should all be deported , while he may be the worst offender of them all.

What else is Rush doing that we don't know about? How do I know that he is not a murderer? A child fucker? A freak?!!

13. Perhaps I don't have an ounce of sense,
but I find it useful to know what the enemy is saying, where they're getting their marching orders, what issues they're going to be pumped up about today, and what disinformation they're being fed.

Knowing these things in advance allows me to prepare counter-arguments and counter-attacks. I have persuaded more than a few people that Rush was wrong about something because I LISTENED TO HIM AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID ABOUT IT. Some of those people even voted YES on September 9th when our Governor here tried to push through a very progressive tax and accountability package, due, I'm proud to say, in large part to MY efforts to educate them.

That's why I listen to Rush. Forewarned is forearmed.

Also, it's a good test of my spirituality. When I can listen to him and not get angry/uptight/frantic/panicked, etc., but rather maintain my serenity and happiness on my own terms, I know that I'm allowing God, not politics, to be the God of my life.

So, there you go. Like I said, I probably don't have an ounce of sense. Sigh.

15. Perhaps I should re-phrase that.
Why would anyone with an ounce of sense listen to Limbaugh and buy his lies and propaganda? Especially after he has been proven to be the king of all liars.

18. You are a better woman than I, and with MUCH more fortitude!
I prefer to keep my low blood pressure low. But my husband feels as you do - that it's wise to know what the enemy is saying. That's why he watches FAUX as much as he does (even though I reflexively change the channel whenever I enter the room, whether I'm staying in it or not). I realize there's that old saying - "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." But even so, I have to rely on the kindness of strangers with more resilience than I - to monitor vermin like Limbaugh. Thank heavens we have brave souls like you among us, to sound the clarion call!

same guy. He tried hard to be the same, but he sounded off-balance.

The guy's in recovery. He can't lie or bloviate if he wants to keep his mind/serenity intact. It's not going to work.

12. He returned?
Well then I have to wish him all he deserves. I wish I could remember the precise Buddhist mantra, but that'll serve. May he enjoy all he deserves ....

Oh: here it is: May he live an "interesting" life--a curse wrapped in seemingly kind rhetoric. Very clever.

14. Money laundering
He made bunches of $9800 withdrawals. Just under the limit for having to file paperwork. Technically, that's money laundering.

Whether it comes to anything? Not clear.
