I am heart-broken because I did not get my ticket in time! Oh no, posted all about it at DU, told people, called people and did not get a ticket!!!!!!!! So keeping my fingers crossed because I just called and pleaded, begged and cajoled, and some kind lady (also a Kucinich supporter) promised to call me if any get turned back in. So keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll be there regardless...

Dennis Kucinich first came to national prominence when elected mayor of Cleveland in 1977 at age 31, making him the youngest person ever elected to lead a major American city. As a four-term U.S. congressman and now a declared Democratic presidential candidate, Kucinich has been called "the purer anti-Pentagon alternative to Howard Dean." He wants to cut the Pentagon budget by $60 billion, cancel NAFTA and the WTO, and replace private sector insurance and pharmaceutical firms with government-run entities. He has received endorsements from such notables as Ben Cohen (of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream), actors Ed Norton, Jeff Bridges and Ben Affleck, and Willie Nelson.
