Captial Gang discussing *'s sneaking into Iraq
Al Hunt thinks it's another "Mission Accomplished", temporary shot in the arm, but so what

Said it spoke volumes that * had to travel under such secrecy, with the lights out, etc.

2. I'm watching this but each week I wonder why.
What planet are these people living on? Every week they only prove themselves to be totally out of touch with the reality of what people are dealing with and what they are thinking about it.

4. I've had fun beating up Dittomonkeys...
when they claim WhittleAss is so brave for going, I mention he went under the cover of night and stayed for a whopping 2 1/2 hours at the airport...that's not a visit, that's a lay-over.

If that doesn't shut them up, I ask that if he was such a hero and leader why isn't he spending the night, going on to Afghanistan, visiting injured at military hospitals within a short drive of the WH and his Texas cesspool or attend the funeral of one of those young boys or girls who got shot up in his war.

It's getting harder for them to defend and it's getting more fun to be me

6. Discussing a draft: The 3 on the left, Shields,Carlson and Hunt are for it
Edited on Sat Nov-29-03 07:43 PM by oasis
Novak and O'Bierne are against it. O'Bierne says a draft would bring "losers" into the service.

The argument of the lefties seemed to center around fairness for rich and poor.

Although they mentioned a dwindling of volunteers who wish to serve, noone yet has mentioned that PNAC needs troops for their armies of occupation.

8. Novak has always been against the war...he was against Gulf Oil War I
I sense it's his latent anti-semetism or pro-Arabism or whatever, but he's always sided against Israel and any U.S. policy that favors Israel. This war...being pushed by his nemesis' Wolfowitz and Perle really pissed him off. While he's a faithful party lacky, he's not a happy one and appears to be amused at the growing boondoggle going on there.

But of course, he'd never give those of us who opposed this war on the silly concept that it's immoral and fradulent the satisfaction of saying we're right.

11. Your instincts are correct. Novak has been consistently anti-Israel.

He was also rabidly against the invasion of Iraq.
