Just saw a clip of the prez in Baghdad
In the stills I saw some women. In the video it looked like 99% male. Is that what the mix is?

1. here's shrub forcing himself on a female Black Soldier (pic)
Edited on Sun Nov-30-03 11:38 AM by amen1234
shrub degrades her by pawing her in front of other troops, pulling her to his side to kiss her in the workplace...shrub is at least TWICE her age, and her ultimate commanding officer.... she has NO CHOICE but to allow shrub to violate her....she is not kissing him back, and shrub is pulling her toward him, not only pulling at the handshake, but also grabbing her behind, and pulling her toward him...

most Federal supervisors would be FIRED for such workplace conduct...
shrub really degraded this fine Soldier in front of the other troops...such a poor example for troops trying to recover from sex scandals, such as navy tail hook, the AF Academy, and the army boot camp....

it appears that they hauled in just ONE female Black soldier to paw and maul for the cameras....I certainly didn't see Senator Clinton engaging in such conduct with male soldiers...at all times, the Senator conducted herself with dignity....

5. Some of the male soldiers look pissed off.

Check out the two dudes in the background of the photo op. They look like they're thinking "Why don't you stay here, Bush, and we'll go back to Crawford and have us some Thanksgiving there."

4. The turkey has landed - again
This was another pr job. The 600 on hand for the turkey were hand-picked militry personnel. A bait and switch to get the Faux news watching public's attention away from the 60 personnel slain over the course of the preceding month.

An expensive, reckless and tactically meaningless expedition for purposes of a blatant photo-op. Landing on the aircraft carrier isn't going to work to make him a warrior hero.

8. Exactly right, Vrai.
You're spot-on about the "November Distraction" (we never did get the promised October surprise; I think they're saving that for '04). Shockingly, I actually think it may have failed.

CNN's Late Edition has been talking about what they're now calling "Bloody November" for an hour and twenty minutes now, complete with big-name war critics like Wes Clark and Bob Graham, and hawkish apologists like William Cohen and Henry Kissinger.

There's only a little talk about "Bozo Goes to Baghdad" this Sunday afternoon on CNN (although "Meet the Press" waxed euphorically about it most of the morning), most of it negative.

7. HE WASN'T IN BAGHDAD!!!
He didn't leave the frickin airport. He got off the plane, picked up the turkey, had his picture taken, and then got back on the plane. Time elapsed: about 2 hours.

He was never in Baghdad itself.
