Question regarding Christmas gifts for soldiers.
I found a small (10 inch) Christmas tree and a string of little battery powered lights to match it. I could also find mini ornaments for it and garland. Would this be appreciated or just get in the way? I’m certain the soldier is Christian so that’s not an issue.

1. Please send it!
I got something like that during desert shield from a complete stranger (I was the commander of her brother) and it was the best thing ever!!!

6. Our guy...
never sent a single letter. We were hoping he'd acknowledge receiving the package...it did cost us a bundle. But it was still worth it.

7. My guy only sent a note after the first box.
I think some of them are getting quite a bit of stuff, I don't know if it's too much.

SoCal do you know what's going on over there?

9. Mail is erratic . . .
my girlfriend didn't get most of the things I sent until six months later, I guess there's a reason why the postage is free. . .
