Call the RNC and ask WHO is attacking * for attacking the terrorists
Some are now attacking the President for attacking the terrorists.

That is a line from the laughably titled RNC ad "Reality" which is running in Iowa right now. We all know the insinuation is that if you were against the war in Iraq, you must be for "the terrorists." But Iraq did not pose a terrorist threat to us before the war, so the war in Iraq has nothing to do with the "War on Terror." Therefore, there are two conclusions one can draw from this ad:
1. The RNC is shamelessly lying, or
2. The RNC is asserting that "some," meaning Democrats, are attacking * for attacking al Qaeda.

Let's assume, for a moment, that they're not giant liars and that #2 is correct. Don't you want to know exactly WHO it is that has attacked * for attacking the terrorists? I want to know EXACTLY who did that and EXACTLY when they did it.

So, tomorrow morning I plan to call the RNC and say, "I've seen your ad that states 'some are now attacking the president for attacking the terrorists.' Who are you referring to?"
RNC drone will probably say: Democrats.
Me: "Who specifically? Who said what and when?"
RNC drone will probably say: The people who were against the Iraq war.
Me: "But I thought the president said that Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11? So what does the Iraq war have to do with attacking terrorists?" Et cetera.

Who's with me?

1. Stop attacking terrorists!
And start attacking "some." This some is clearly the biggest threat to national security.

4. not even the terrorists are attacking him for that
Bush is playing the victim card. Typical republican tactic. O'Reilly uses it all the time.
