Can we say anything negative about the Catholic hierarchy?
or is everything less than flattering against the DU rules for this forum?

If only EVERY Catholic couple were as genuine as the one in Peru that has taken their church's teaching against abortion and birth-
control to heart, it would not be long before their Pope would be
Emperor of this entire planet.

You may find this hard to believe, but according to the Guinness World Book Encyclopedia, this couple holds the record for the greatest number of offspring from the same father and mother, SIXTY-FOUR.

( There were obviously many twins, triplets, etc., and the much older children helped care for their subsequent generations of syblings. When scientists asked the father for a blood sample, he refused out of fear that it might make him sterile!)

See what Christ might say about the "Christian Coalition" & "Religious Right" imposters.

5. waiting for the hierarchy to DECLARE WAR on Liberals?
Many Liberals won't realize the Catholic hierarchy is an important part of the Religious Right until they tell us themselves or declare war OFFICIALLY.
By then it may be too late for us to do anything about it but surrender to Ashcroft and whoever the new ultra-Conservative Pope has put in charge of the US Catholic Church.

8. Excuse me, but just what the hell
is that supposed to mean? He happens to be speaking the truth. He isn't bashing Catholics in general, he's talking about the hierarchy. I, for one, do not need the pope to tell me what to do. Even if I were Catholic, I would not need the pope to tell me what to do, nor would I listen to him in the first place.

2. A surprising number of religions plan to take over the world
through just such over-population. Fortunately, I won't be around for it.

:hi:

go ahead, just don't use that to attack all catholics or use false charges against the catholic hierarchy. There is enough wrong with them without making things up.

and so what if they had 64 kids. Lots of people do very odd things in their lives and wheter or not they're catholic has NOTHING to do with that.

Emperor of the entire Planet? That's some serious paranoia you got going on there.

Again the absurdities pile up in place of legitimate and honest criticism.

edit to add: what the hell does this have to do with DU rules, your post is completely without a thesis or point
