This Freeper is talking about what we should do with the eight Iraqis who were reportedly taken prisoner:

Put all eight in a helicopter and head for about 1500 feet. Pick one at random and shove him out, then pick another and head for the door. See how the religion of peace zealots start to spell their guts.

Isn't it sick to see how these conservative "pro-lifers" celebrate death and suffering? :scared:

It would be unreadable even if the things being said there were rational. If they want to see peace zealots spell their guts, they can come here: T-H-E-I-R G-U-T-S.

and violence? It's a bit... sick.

Post a picture of a Democrat and see how long it takes before someone makes a "here's how you deal with that one. You tie them up and..." sort of post. It's a sick fucking group over there.

7. I don't hate these people but I am sure glad our soldiers were able to
protect themselves. But what would any of us do under occupation circumstances?

What is scary about this is that they seemed to know we were coming (in two places) and were prepared in advance. Does that tell us anything?

28. If you want to talk with argumentative questions, I'll give it a shot.
Is that a picture of a victim of Sadam or one of his sons?

I regret that any persons died or were injured in removing Sadam and his crew, but even seeing the picture of the injured girl does not change my opinion.

If this girl did not survive her injuries, I hope the rest of her family did and the thrive in a free Iraq soon.

I think opposition to the war was a reasonable position.
I think that reasonable minds can disagree on the war.

Have you ever supported any humanitarian intervention?

37. dude, that girl is fucking dead.
killed by one of our bombs. You understand?

You call the invasion of Iraq humanitarian? What kind of deluded world are you living in?

Who, exactly, has benefitted by this invasion?

You? We're spending 200 billion dollars there.

You? We're now less safe than we were before, with our armies tied down in a place where they don't need to be. If we were attacked now, at home, or anywhere else, we'd be screwed.

The Iraqis? Thousands of civilians were killed, blown to bits like this little girl, children whose parents were killed, truckloads of bodies missing their arms and legs being driven to red cross centers, overloading the hospitals. This was all in the news, but you had to look for it. It was not reported in American news.

What about the Iraqis whose ancient orchards were destroyed by American bulldozers, their only means of making a living destroyed completely?

What about the 400 Americans who are now dead?

What about the 10,000 Americans who are wounded, many of them missing arms, legs, and eyes.

What about Halliburton. Oh yes, Halliburton, the company still paying Dick Cheney six figures a year, the company who has benefited to the tune of 8 billion dollars on no-bid contracts to take OUR AMERICAN TAXPAYER MONEY so they can rebuild the country that OUR TAX DOLLARS destroyed in the first place.

Tell you what, conservdem. Let's you and me fly to Iraq, together. We'll go find one of these Iraqi families. We'll tie them up, blindfold them, and make them drop to their knees in front of us. Then I want you to take a pistol, put it to the fathers' head, and blow his brains out.

Okay? If you can do that, and say it was all good and worthwhile, then I have no argument with you.

33. well at first
The conservatives claimed we attacked Iraq because of WMDs. When that story proved to be a lie, they claimed the attack was to liberate the poor people of Iraq. You have to wonder about the validity of those claims when you see how conservatives talk about Arabs and Muslims. Seems to me with the way they feel about these people, it would be completely out of character for them to be so upset that their leader was mistreating them, that they would launch this crusade.

who will proclaim loudly that they are good and pious Christians, just like their hero Saint Georgie.

Put all eight in a helicopter and head for about 1500 feet. Pick one at random and shove him out, then pick another and head for the door. See how the religion of peace zealots start to spell their guts.

Absolutely disgusting! Real Christians can feel nothing but revulsion. Real Americans can feel nothing but revulsion.

15. And over here on DU....
the topic of the day seems to be..how to commit suicide or is life worth living? What a sad day on both sites for these topics to command our attention. I buried my godson this past Tuesday...Capt. Pierre Esprit Piche, the 5th Vermonter to give his life for this miserable war. He wasn't talking about the best way to commit suicide, all he could think about was completing his tour of duty, and leaving the military to join his wife in teaching our children.

I should be the one considering the best way to off myself...it was my responsibility, as his godfather, to keep him safe in this insane world. I can't do this now...but I can assure you that I am not contemplating suicide, I will do whatever is in my power to make certain that no other godfather will ever have to expierence this pain.

I am renewed....and I am pissed, AND I don't need to read this crap from our ultimate salvation...THE YOUTH OF THIS MIGHTY NATION !! I have a 5yr old grandaughter who is depending on you, and as Pierre's parents entrusted his safety and protection upon me...I now entrust her future upon to YOU !!

I don't need to hear about the best way to commit suicide... I need to know how you will protect my Princess Carly after I have gone...and make no mistake about it..I will be watching you !!

I am really sorry for your loss, and also about the threads going on here at DU and over at Freepville. But like someone else said - it's not indicative of the majority of folks here, and we will make a difference. We're mad too, and NO ONE here is of any use to help defeat Bush and make a better world for our children and their children if they are dead - be it suicide, or fighting an unjust war in Iraq. We won't let you down.

26. :eyes:
"planes", not "plains".

We were attacked in 9/11, not invaded. There's a big difference that you clearly cannot comprehend.

But you're right. Any invaders would kill us all without such discrimination. Which is a pity, but I can't blame them either. As citizens, we are indirectly responisible for what we allow our leaders to do.

I thought this was good news. Better news would be all for all the resistance over there to lay down their wepons and get behind building a democracy. But, if they won't do that I would rather have them dead than shooting at any our troops or those of other counties helping us.

Our military keeps lying to us, so we just don't know. Either way it's a loss of life that wouldn't have happened if we hadn't invaded Iraq.

You too celebrate the deaths of these people?

First, you do not know the difference between an invasion and an attack, then the difference between recognizing the need for the troops needing to defend themselves,(we all recognize that) and celebrating the violent death of a person..any person..in fact dreaming of even more violent ways to kill. Those posts were advocating murder...not self defense, and it is abhorrent!

Some of the posts were too much, but IMO some were not "abhorrent." Take another look at the list:

"Nice shootin', boys."

"Excellent news."

Do you still think all the posters were advocating "murder."
