FReepers Infiltrating Clark MeetUps
My undercover evening at a Wesley Clark for President meetup.
N/A | 12-02-03 | Badray

Posted on 12/01/2003 11:19 PM PST by Badray

Tonight was different than most of my evenings. I've spend many evenings involved in political discussions, but this one was at a (Wesley) Clark for President meetup. I was in the belly of the beast. One non-FReeper friend met me there, but soon left saying that to stay would just be 'too painful.' Perhaps I should have followed him out the door.

But, I didn't. And here, to the best of my recollection is what transpired over the next two hours.

Not too long ago... where author goes to Clark meeting undercover and then writes a poorly written piece that was most likely an attempt at being witty/sarcastic.

4. "Infiltrate"? HA! I've seen recent threads like that in freeperland.
I saw that one and also another one of some guy "infiltrating" a Dean event.

It basically means they attend, say little, leave, and then post on FR.

8. ROTFLMAO
Maybe this "secret agent" should consider attending a Bush meetup.

For all his efforts to portray the attendance at the Clark meetup as dissapointing, he might be interested in the reality that Clark has 48,621 meetup attendees while Shrub has 1,979. Clark has more meetup supporters in New York alone than Shrub has nationwide.

You go get 'em secret agent man. Your pResident thanks you.

close relative that died. I don't think the person had to die. This was was unecessary and now, his relative is gone. His wife is alone, with the kids, and frankly, I wouldn't be supporting this president if my good friend(s) (one who is actually going to Iraq next year) went there.

10. lies and deceit from the Hate Clinton crowd
ahh, how revealing--how ordinary,

BTW all his attempts to debunk the Clark people were lacking in logic--if he thinks none of the recounts in FL showed "algore" the winner, then HE should read up on the subject!--I doubt he swayed anyone there, much less "highjack" the meeting.

Perhaps he should get some counseling on the uneasy feelings he expressed about Bush. There's something he's repressing there that should be examined. Deep down he must know that Bush is a Dick and anyone who doesn't see it is a brainless yes man! Oh well, not much hope there.

One thing I discovered accidentally while surfing the web is that the hard core Satanists are supporting Dean. I found that intriguing. I imagine they will drop him like a hot potato if Hillary announces however.

Interesting report, and I like your style. This is something I also have done, and would do again. You learn so much more by going "undercover", so to speak.

Hint: If you get into a debate with them face-to-face, be prepared to be surrounded by their pals, all screaming in your face. The stench gets almost overwhelming.

Great job!

I have a considerable stomach so it's easy work for me. They do have a pack mentality, don't they? If we weren't in a restaurant, or if they hadn't have just met each other, I'm sure that it would have been exactly as you describe.

Of course, they were really trying to convert what they thought was an undecided democrat and not a staunch right wing, gun toting conservative with 5 years of FReeping experience. That would have been interesting and fun too.

I have a liberal conversion kit that consists of handcuffs and a stun gun. For extreme cases, I replace the stun gun with one of those portable car jump starting boxes. If nothing else, when they see it, it usually shuts their pie holes.

Ooooh....I'm not the only one. I went to a Dean meet-up not long ago. Since the loonies read FreeRepublic, I won't mention where it was. Did the Clark folks go on about how much they "hate" the Deaniacs? Cause the Deaniacs are really hateful about the Clark folks. Then again they also hate the Kerry people, but are assuming they will eventually join the Dean fold. They seem to think of the Clarks supporters as warmongers. Only 7 people (excluding myself)showed up to the Dean event at a local coffee house. Too funny.

I didn't tell them I was undecided, I told them I was supporting Dean based on his 2nd amendment stance, which made some of them flinch. Of course I am voting for Dean in the primary, and I sent him my obligatory $25.00 in right wing money. I figure half of that will be spent on sending me more campaign fundraising letters and materials.

21. Wouldn't Clark be their guy considering he sits on the board
of this:

"How many Americans could identify the National Endowment for Democracy? An organization which often does exactly the opposite of what its name implies. The NED was set up in the early 1980s under President Reagan in the wake of all the negative revelations about the CIA in the second half of the 1970s. The latter was a remarkable period. Spurred by Watergate-the Church Committee of the Senate, the Pike Committee of the House and the Rockefeller Commission, created by the president, were all busy investigating the CIA. Seemingly every other day there was a new headline about the discovery of some awful thing, even criminal conduct, the CIA had been mixed up in for years. The Agency was getting an exceedingly bad name, and it was causing the powers-that-be much embarrassment.
Something had to be done. What was done was not to stop doing these awful things. Of course not. What was done was to shift many of these awful things to a new organization, with a nice sounding name-the National Endowment for Democracy. The idea was that the NED would do somewhat overtly what the CIA had been doing covertly for decades, and thus, hopefully, eliminate the stigma associated with CIA covert activities...

48. Gee, Bob Graham, too.
Richard Holbrooke. Greg Meeks. Just terrible.

The National Endowment for Democracy is a U.S. initiative to strengthen democratic institutions throughout the world through private, non-governmental efforts. It is a privately incorporated nonprofit organization with a Board of Directors comprised of leading citizens from the mainstream of American political and civic life - liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, representatives of business and labor. and others with long international experience. The Endowment embodies a broad, bipartisan U.S. commitment to democracy. It seeks to enlist the energies and talents of private citizens and groups in the United States to work with those abroad who wish to build for themselves a democratic future.

The Endowment's objective of strengthening democratic groups and institutions in other countries not only reflects the hopes and ideals of the American people, but also is rooted in universally recognized principles of international law. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other United Nations agreements (including the Conventions of the International Labor Organization), as well as the Helsinki Final Act, commit governments around the world to honoring the fundamental human rights that are guaranteed to citizens of the United States and other free societies. It is therefore in keeping with established international law for the American people, through an institution such as the National Endowment for Democracy, to help others build democratic institutions and strengthen democratic processes that will promote individual rights and freedoms.

They wouldn't request the info they would try to stop you from going by without giving them your name and sticking a DEAN sticker on you. Think friendly french standing on the edge of the street waving their little flags as the germans rolled by in there tanks. I got this info (sticker & such) second hand since I didn't stop for them. I guess thats why I was accosted the second time as I entered the venue.

51. Yeah, I laughed at that, too.
Even though I suspect the interactions were entirely fictional.

38. They like to play Pretend.
It reminds me of those guys who go to "baseball camp" or enjoy reenacting war battles.

But this is funnier.

Operation Infinite FReep: Colorado "REGIME CHANGE" FReep. Get to know your Leftists 6-24-03
6-24-03 | Trteamer

Posted on 06/24/2003 11:10 PM MDT by Trteamer

According to Boulder left wing radio host David Barsamian "Christians are the American Taliban". That was all I could stand of being in a room full of hard core leftists. BUT FIRST I FREEPED THEM SOLO BUT GOOD!! I now understand the aims and goals of the Green Party and Democrats and am disgusted with both. Time to wake up FReepers!! Next year is going to be nasty...........

I arrived early at the Fort Collins Lincoln Community Center in order to do some recon of the situation before FReeping. I located the room before the leftists arrived, and spotted a great place to FReep from. They ALL had to go past me to get into the event. What event? "BEYOND THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, FOSTERING REGIME CHANGE AT HOME" sponsored by the Larimer County Democrats and the Green Party. The guest speaker was Davis Barsamian from liberal Boulder talk radio.

I took up residence on the sidewalk right where everyone registering for the event could look right out and see my signs. "LEFTIST'S WHINING INSIDE" and "GREEN PARTY IS MARXIST" along with Old Glory flying proudly. They had a fit! A BIG FIT!!

I was called a "Fascist" and "Ass" and "Idiot" etc., and I just cracked up laughing. You see, they couldn't get to me, I had a fence between me and them!LOL! There were all these leftists running up to look out the door for a better look and I just cracked up laughing. Priceless!! Oh boy were they unhappy. Oh boy is FReeping FUN!!

I took a couple of pictures and waited for them all to go inside. Then I retreated to my vehicle, changed into a different shirt, hat and glasses, and proceeded to crash their party for some note taking. No one recognized me. LOL!

I layed low in the back and started taking notes. One leftist saw me and kept leaning back to see what I was writing. I just stared at him until he saw me and decided to mind his own business. The Boulder leftist radio host started out the program by attacking "The Right Wing Gas Bags", Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Oh Boo Hoo! Then he mentioned the couple of protestors outside (there was only one, a FReeper, with odds of 90 to one I had them outnumbered, especially when you count the total IQ!) He tried to make fun of my sign about the leftists whining by making some wise crack about French wine, but the joke flopped and you could tell that my little FReep got to them.

If you have high blood pressure, PLEASE go take a break and come back to read the rest of this when you are calm......

53. Slimy sneaky creeping lowlifes
How can they do things like this and then look into the mirror? Can you imagine having the time to actually do something like this? I'm usually way to busy living my honest life to sacrifice a whole evening to sneaking and conniving . Talk about evil..Hey Freeturds, go crawl back under yer rock.

61. This is the telling one: The occupations compute with their politics
That was from post 23, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1032090/posts?page=23#23

So, in other words, they hate:

Teachers
Lawyers
Homemakers (housewives)
Chemists
And Human Resouce Managers (but then, who doesn't? So I'll give the freeps a bye on that one)

Fuckers.
