Would Kerry endorse Clark if he drops out |
|
If Kerry dropped out would he endorse Clark? that would be big for Clark in my opinon. A Clark/Kerry ticket wouldn't be bad at all

i can't imagine why Kerry would endorse someone who dropped out ... it doesn't make any sense ... besides, i don't think Clark is likely to drop out anytime soon ...

your subject line: Would Kerry endorse Clark if he drops out left it open to interpretation who was dropping out ...
the "if HE drops out" could just as easily have meant Clark as Kerry ... it was unclear ...
anyway, I prefer to focus on the good work being done right now by both of these candidates ... i've been very impressed with both of them over the last few weeks or so ...
i see no point in wild speculation about what would happen if either of them were to drop out ... and i have no idea what would happen even if i did care to speculate ...

2. If Clark dropped out, would HE endorse Kerry? |
|
I always try to think of it the other way first, to help get prospective. If the answer isn't the same, the support probably isn't mutual and it won't happen.
I think, yes, if Clark dropped out he would endorse Kerry, so by my twisted logic (that makes perfect sense) Kerry will endorse Clark, IF he drops out

Kerry is the serious candidate most at risk.
And to answer the original question, if Kerry was offered the 2 spot for an endorsement then you bet he would.
There is not so much different between the two except for Kerry being an actual elected politico. Why not ?

Lieberman is more at risk than Kerry
Alot of the media has pounded it in to people that Kerry is on this downward spiral for some time now. it's not the case.

kerry is way behind in NH ... maybe gaining a little ground in Iowa but still 3rd at best ... he got off to a worse than horrible start ... it seems to me he knows he's going to get killed in N.H. ... his campaign organization was in tatters a few weeks ago ...
if Kerry was going to pack it in, this was the time ... clearly, he's decided to stick ... he's in it for the long haul ...
and, if the last two days are any indication, he's well on his way to becoming a much more formidable candidate ...
too many here think the primaries are a done deal ... they're not ... i think dean, clark and kerry are going to be putting on a lot of miles before the democratic convention ...
to quote bob dylan:
come writers and poets who prophesize with your pens and keep your eyes wide the chance won't come again and don't speak too soon for the wheel's still in spin and there's no telling who that it's naming for the loser now may be later to win cause the times they are a changing ...

10. If Kerry can't win Iowa, NH, SC, where will he make his stand? |
|
This is an honest question....
I have never really thought of it until now...

16. Don't know Molly. If polls continue to show Dean beating him.. |
|
in MA, he may drop out. That would be very humiliating and may spoil his chances to be chosen for the VP slot.

12. I'd think he would endorse Gephardt. |
|
Given their coordinated attacks against other candidates, they'd likely support each other if one of them lost too.
