Carlyle Group-Ahnold-Dubya connectivity
From: http://www.public-i.org/story_01_021201.htm

relevant snip:

Bob Grady, a bureaucrat-turned-venture capitalist, started out working at the gubernatorial and congressional level, became the chief speechwriter and senior adviser for the 1988 Bush-Quayle campaign, and then served in that administration's Office of Management and Budget. He now counts himself among the heavy hitters at the Carlyle Group, where he is a partner and managing director in venture capital. (Carlyle is headed by former Defense Secretary Frank Carlucci, who has recruited several ex-Reagan and Bush staffers, including former Secretary of State James Baker and past budget chief Richard Darman. Billionaire financier George Soros and members of the Mellon family are also partners.) Grady also gave $9,000 to various federal campaigns in the past two years, $1,000 of that directly to Bush.

end snip

Bob Grady is also part of Ahnold's transition team ( http://www.joinarnold.com/en/transition/ - search "Bob Grady")

in addition, he was a Dep. Asst. to Dubya.

and he advises Ahnold on environmental issues.

Wow...VC, speechwriter, OMB, and POTUS Deputy Assistant make one an expert on environmental issues...who knew?!

so, for all you good folks dutifully wearing your tin-plated stetsons:

Is this guy the BFEE liason to Ahnold's Sacramento? The man relaying instructions and making sure interests are being properly represented?

I'm thankful for a sick sense of humor which allows me to laugh instead of cry at this bullshet.

1. Jackson Stephens ring any bells?
You wanna get your tin wig wigged? Read about Arkansas billionaire Jackson Stephens, the guy who gave Walmart seed money, and how he's invested in businesses and politicians alike. He's tied to BCCI, Adnan Khashoggi, Iran-Contra and a whole lot more up to 9-11.

Jackson Stephens Active at Venice Airport:
The Bill Was Due in 2002

October 31--Venice, Florida.

Jackson Stephens, a name often linked with America’s super-secret National Security Agency,  has been an influential presence for several decades in the tiny town which served as port of entry into U.S. flight and even military training for the terrorist cadre implicated in the Sept 11 attack.

A block away from the Venice Florida airport stands an opulent  three-story red brick building that is a monument to the rivers of money flowing through the Stephens financial empire.

Looking eerily-reminiscent of the plush digs of the law firm in the Tom Cruise movie "The Firm," or a particularly-ostentatious Southern Governors’ mansion, the building seems out of place alongside the weed-strewn airport perimeter.

This was the national headquarters of Jackson Stephen's Beverly Enterprises. It is a stone’s throw from the Venice Airport.
