Dec. 5, 2003 | WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Rush Limbaugh on Friday poked fun at the investigation into whether he bought painkillers illegally, hours after his attorney accused investigators of political motives.

Yeah, right.

I'm trying to compose myself here.

This man feels as if he's God. He's had plenty of help thru his ditto head idiot support group and lots and lots of illegal drugs. Here he is busted red-handed, and has the nerve to JOKE about it. Now he's trying to deflect attention from himself and rile his army of morans to garner sympathy, credibility, and support. Luckily they can't troll and disrupt, but they can lurk.

Some here think that we just dust off our Sunday best and bone up on our Emily Post literature in anticipation of the pending onslaught of baboons.

If Rush Limbaugh can't take his situation seriously and accept responsiblity for his actions, damn him. He deserves any and every bit of criticism coming his way.

And I, for one, will NOT bite my tongue when it comes to voicing my opinion of him, his stupid ass party, and his legion of baboons.

Short story: I had a serious illness that required 2 yrs. of treatment and I was written more prescriptions for painkillers of different types than I can remember. During those 2 yrs. I was requesting that my physician stop writing prescriptions for some of the meds. I DID NOT get them filled and then turn around and sell them on the street. I was also requesting that the dosages be reduced and at the end of the 2 yrs. I was addicted to the painkillers. No fancy rehab for me. Even with my treating physician calling a pain management specialist I had to go thru 11 hellish days of withdrawal before I could get in to see the specialist. At the end of 2 months I had weaned myself off of all of the methadone, etc. that he had prescribed and that was the end of it. I don't understand the difference in addiction - once I was done I wanted it over and didn't take anything else. But, I do know that everyone of my prescriptions stated very clearly that it is a violation of federal law for anyone other than me to take the meds.

I joked that if I had taken the meds and sold them on the street that the 2 yrs. of treatment wouldn't have damn near bankrupted us, but I didn't do it because I knew it was wrong and porkboy knew what he was doing was wrong, too.
