Nominee by March 10. He said it on Arnie Arnesens radio show. Caught the late rebroadcast.

2. It's going to happen before February.
We are such an "instant grats" society and it has become clear during the past week that Dean is going to be the nominee. Now, before all you guys who are for some other candidates....pay attention. All the news is about Dean. I am talking about people finally coming out and supporting Dean. Molly Ivins, Babbitt, the Unions etc.

No offense to any other candidates. In fact, ANY of these people would make mincemeat of *, but it's becoming increasing clear that Dean is it.

As an aside, I don't really want the other candidates to drop out. Yeah, I mean that because ALL of them have something salient to say about * and his absolute misadministration. Let 'em talk and tear this fool apart.

3. Dean isn't in as good shape if the crowd thins.
People that are for candidates that aren't Dean aren't going to go there in a large way. The Anti-Dean is important, and the sooner we get this to Dean-Clark-* the better (for Clark).

13. The "NEWS" is about Dean because...
This is part of the tagged teamed plan of the GOp and major media. If you cant see that thru the lust of your candidate, that is your loss.

Someone on a clark blog reported they have been watching Inside Politics and to their count it was 9 days without a mention of Clark. The RNC site itself doesn't even list Clark as a candidate.http://www.rnc.org/Newsroom/DemsInDepth/

You chose to buy into this crap. You deserve what happens as a consequence of it!

4. Not LBN... locking
Interesting, but it really doesn't qualify for posting in LBN.

Please feel free to repost in the General Discussion Forum.

Thanks!

5. OK
The only reason why I dropped this there is that I have never heard this come out of his mouth. It is significant omming from the chairman.

6. McAuliffe is a miserable failure
McKinney would do a better job...

Let's change the Scottish surnames around at the top and then lets go for the jugular. Hit Bush with the whole 9-11 LIHOP mess and the PAINFULLY OBVIOUS cover up that is ensuing...

Cynthia, I still love ya!

7. Who will be the 2-3 candidates by Feb. 4th?
This could be fun.

Let's say we're in Vegas and I'm putting money down on Three Candidates to be considered still viable on February 4th. I'd go with:

1. Dean
2. Gephardt
3. Clark

If the rules changed to include those who hadn't dropped out yet, I'd add:

4. Kerry
5. Lieberman
6. Edwards

I think it's a no-brainer to believe we'll have a firm nominee by March 10. I'd put money down that we'll know sooner... in fact, immediately following the results of the March 2 primaries (CA, CT, GA, MA, MN, NY, OH, RI, VT).

9. I hope Sharpton and Braun don't drop out
I'm a Dean supporter, but even in ethnic NY, the campaign is far from winning the hearts and minds of minority activist. We need stronger support in swing states due to the lack of any real southern strategy.

10. Anc Carlson said Dean would be out in two weeks
Don't listen to the prognosticators. No one holds them accountable when they're wrong, which is more often than not.

14. Dean, Clark, Kerry, Gephardt
If the crowd thins out then many supporters of the other candidates might go to Clark or Kerry instead. These other supporters have not chosen Dean to be at the top of their list. Dean could be a washout!
