This is a screen shot from a pop up ad that I just encountered. I have heard Hannity go on and on about conservative book sales going through the roof and how this was proof of the changing tide in American politics. It appears that they have to give this poor excuse for toilet paper away in order to move it.

3. Someone on here once...
...signed up for a bunch of right-wing lists or something - you know, to spy and what not - and ended up getting a phone call asking them if he'd like to order multiple copies of Ann Coulter's book, saying that if he'd like, they could give him a list of (this is the part that seriously disturbs me) churches to which they could be donated.

4. That is disturbing.
but what the hay, churches are already filled with liars and propagandists. Would this be a far stretch?

5. cia's $40 billion/yr budget (in the 80's)...
this is mainly what they do...they buy toby keith albums by truckload for example....they PAY certain newspaper chains to inflate numbers, they operate boiler rooms (using fronts) to harass citizen businesses and groups....
iow we taxpayers are funding the neocon revolution....
in local sally ann store, stacks of rush limpy's crapfest, along with peggy noonan etc are always available (a swastika on forehead always tells story)

11. We need to shake this shit...
this is like... if Goebbels owned our media... then given a drug that made his brain grow by exponential measures... well this is what we have.

It's crap. Seriously at this point... the Democrats can impress all the people they want but 75% of the population is sucking vile propaganda. We need a revolt.

7. It's a book club
like all the others. After you join, you get to pay a hefty, if discounted price for the rest. I don't think THAT is the reason. Now comments about conservative intelligence, etc, might be closer to the mark.

9. It's a conservative bookclub
I doubt the Clintons would sell on it.

10. They also have lots of bulk-orders.
Check the NY Times bestseller list the next time a conservative book is selling well... often you will see a + by the book title.

This means, as the NY Times helpfully informs us, that some booksellers are reporting bulk orders. So... they buy up tons of copies and buy their way onto the list.
