I don't see an open thread about Dean's statement about Graham.
I just wondered if anyone else picked up on what he said. He said Graham had served his country proudly, and other nice things. Then he grinned, and he said and we hope he will continue to do so in the future...not exact words. It was rather a conspiratorial grin, or did I read too much into it.
Huge applause.

I may be reading too much, because of my love for Graham. Just wondered if others noticed it. Graham is just a part of the lives of so many of us. I have been critical of him at times, but I surely do get upset if others are. Guess I am protective.

I thought he was powerful today, and I hope this dispels the notion that he won't play here in Florida well.

The ones I know would not vote for him for sure would be the ones like some of our neighbors, very right wing Christians who are into the holy war thing. I don't even think they would vote for Clark. They are loyal to Bush because they believe him divinely chosen.....just as their churches preach to them.

2. I didn't see it at all
The convention, that is. A Graham endorsement would go a long way.

3. Graham's oldest daughter is working for Dean now
She was the one there with her father. It was definitely a hint by Dean that he has his eye on Graham as his choice for VP.

5. I heard it
It was not subtle. Dean has his eye on Graham, if not for VP then perhaps for State or Defense. The hint was pretty broad

6. If Dean does choose Graham for VP, it would certainly be a plus.
Graham is a man of great integrity IMHO, I was sorry to see him drop out of the candidacy.

7. Kerry, Clark and Dean
All made lovely statements about Graham. All of them - after all Graham deserves their respect.
