Lisa Ling: MSNBC Ultimate Propagandist
for tomorrow's episode, Lisa takes a trip with the hired guns for the "war on terror in Colombia". She even sits in with the sprayers, who have a "dangerous job". Not to mention the danger on the ground for people who have to eat the chemical spray.

http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/0722-05.htm
"Aerial spraying is death," they declare. "It is genocide. Glyphosate does kill. It kills communities through death by hunger because they spray our daily sustenance - the food, the pastures and the water."

The indigenous peoples of the Putumayo are the Muráis, Ingas, Quichuas, Pastos, Awas, Paeces, Emberá, Sionas, Muinanes, Yanakonas, Kamentzá, Koreguajes, and Kofanes.

They are asking for "the urgent presence of competent authorities that can support us in finding solutions to this problem, and accompany us in denouncing this situation."

2. Lisa is a major AIRHEAD
About 2 months ago NPR was doing their program (Saturday morning I think) where they try to stump the guest with 5 questions. The questions were tailored to fit the new program she is now hosting "Ultimate Explorer" so one would think she would know the answers.

Lisa got them ALL WRONG!!! Which further proved to me that the networks hire for beauty and not brains. She sounded like such a Dumbo.

3. Not surprised.
She was a spoiled, self-absorbed twit on "The View" and apparently has been building on that reputation ever since. :puke:

To do a piece for National Geographic about the spraying in Colombia and not address the effect of the spraying on the ground is not just her bad but shows National Geographic is a corporate appoligist.

on edit: spraying for "g"'s

7. lisa ling is an idiot
though she isn't conservative or anything. i remember her attacks on al gore and some other democratic politicians during 2000. she is totally uninformed. and the stuff she says shows she gets her news like most moron americans from the big whore media since she mostly just repeated their crap without having any other knowledge of the issue or situation. she is a good representative of what those who don't pay attention to real news and aren't very political see .

8. Where is she a propagandist?
I have never seen her as a newsperson. But not of that shows her as a "propagandist?"

If you knew anyone from Columbia, you'd know that the authorities fighting FARC do have very dangerous jobs.
