Think about it... King Jong Il bankrupted his country while he pumped up his military to grotesque proportions. What is George W. Bush doing? The exact same thing... bankrupting the government to the point where he can, as Grover Norquist put it, "drown it in a bathtub". Bush is doing this not because he believes in small government per se, but because he envisions an America that is controlled by a small ruling elite that spends money only on its military/industrial complex. As for the masses? Well, let them eat Yellow Cake.

Kim Il Jong loves movies--has one of the largest personal collections in the world (had the largest at one time, but don't know if that's still true)--while George Bush is careful to portray hismelf as the outdoors type.

Like Martin Luther King, I have a dream...

My dream would be a reenactment of a scene from the original Terminator movie. In the scene, Arnie walks up to a door, knocks, and asks the woman who answers, "Are you Sarah Connor?" In the movie, she answers "yes" and Arnie responds by putting a .45 slug between her eyes.

In my version, I track down the liberals who 'congregate' at DU. I walk up to each of their doors and knock. When they answer, I'd hold up a copy of their most offensive DU post in front of them and ask, in typical Ah-nold stuccato fashion, "Are you left-wing scumbag writer?" As their eyes quickly grow wide with fright, I pull out a machette with my other hand and say, "Everything you've heard about conservatives is true." I'd chase them through their house (or trailer) as they screamed. Upon catching them, I'd tie them up, take out my portable tattooing (sp?) kit, and tattoo an American flag on their forehead (making sure I did every single star) along with the slogan "America--I don't love it, but I don't have the guts to leave it."

...and then I'd grab their checkbooks and force them to write three checks. To wit:

#1) $10,000 to the National Republican Party

#2) $5,000 to the Jobs Before Spotted Owls Committee

#3) $5,000 to the Fry Mumia Movement

Actually, anything larger than $20 would probably decimate their finances.
