the only time he ever gets applause is when he talks about how good the Clinton administration was.
did he hold a position in the Clinton administration that I'm not aware of?

This is the same guy that was giving Clinton endless amounts of grief during the impeachment proceedings --- I believe he called him "immoral" if memory serves. I always felt that Gore chose him as a running mate for that very reason, to distance himself from Clinton.

This is rich, considering that the reason that Lieberman was selected as VP was because of his moralizing stand against Clinton.
