Gen. Clark on Hardball tonight |
|
I think.
By the way, lets stop the Dean and Clark flames.
In my opinion, they each need one another. If Clarks wins the nom I believe the only way he will beat bush is to choose Dean as his VP....and vise versa.
So lets all behave and have fun. As long as we have a Clark/Dean or a Dean/Clark ticket we will win!

1. I really enjoyed Dean's appearance on Hardball... |
|
...I sincerely hope that General Clark does well. I've said before, I think that it's undeniable that Clark has an appeal to a certain segment that the other candidates just don't seem to reach, and I view that as a good thing. Nomination or no, he makes people who might not otherwise do so, pay attention to the democratic primaries...

2. Thanks. Let's hope Chris Mathews hopes the same |
|
I am disturbed by his going on other shows the day of the interview trumpeting his likes and dislikes.

Imus disgusted me one morning when I heard him dismiss Clark as "a psycho". That was the sum total of his commentary, "Clark is a psycho". That's about as loaded a word to use is politics as nigger is in race relations. I mean, what do you think, should we elect a psycho to be Commander in Chief? I don't care what someone think's about Clark but a causal slur like that is below contempt. I'm sorry Imus, the Pentagon does not chose psycho's to head up strategic planning. The less Mathews said on Imus about Clark the better. Why throw Imus another chance to practice character assasination? These radio jocks don't feel accountable to anyone or the truth, it's just an opinion, right?

12. Imus is a pathetic old goat, and he's in some hot water right now |

Beth Ostrosky(Howard Stern's girlfriend) is taking him to court after Imus slandered and lied about her because he was mad at Stern.
It's amazing that Imus is the one taken seriously and the one the mainstream media figures aren't afraid to be associated with, despite the fast that he's an unfunny, racist, homophobe

much he likes Dean and how he doesn't trust the Clark/Clinton connection.
I would be surprised if I saw a "Merv Griffin" impersonation tonight as Tweety interviews Clark. However, I'm confident that Clark can handle Tweety.

what would be so wrong if there is a connection between myself and a President who brought this country economic security for ALL, world peace, lower murder rate, more babies on health insurance, etc....?

6. That's rediculous, Clark would be foolish to chose Dean |
|
Clark should chose Bob Graham. A former governor of Bush's most crucial state to hold, with many years of Washington experience, including ranking membership on the intelligence committee post 9-11
Clark is as anti-war as Dean without the negativity/ranting aspect that Dean has.
There are a hell of alot more people who would be turned off of Clark because of concern for Dean being a heartbeat away from the presidency than there are people who wouldn't vote for or work for Clark without Dean

Although I'm not sure how much of a difference the VP running-mate makes - even the Great Clark might not help
