1. A reply to a question asked on Smiley's site about Democrats |
|
'Pres Bush has the momentum, he's the incumbent who has the cash and the field all to himself, while infighting is going on in the Democratic party. Do Democrats have a chance?'
Email rkreyn@aol.com Phone URL Message: I don't look at it as the Democratic Party infighting amongst each other. Every other person running for the Democratic nomination with a serious chance of winning it has abrogated their responsibilities as representatives of the people who elected them. They have given Bush a blank check and refuse to fight for the people who put them there because Bush was supposed to be so popular. Personally, I would rather see Howard Dean take on Bush (as he has been doing) and lose, than put up a coward who refused to challenge erroneous path this country has been trekking since the Supreme Court appointed him! Howard Dean is also able to articulate to enough of middle America the difference in America 2000 and America 2004. All Bush has to offer is eternal war. His father did the same crap. We had a war on Noriega and a war on Iraq. When that wasn't enough to keep the people in a frenzy he started a war against drugs. Enticing a dealer to come from the opposite side of DC so he could do a photo op claiming he bought drugs in the park across the street from the White House. If there was any justice in this country he and his father would be put of trial for the crimes they have committed! They won't be put on trial. I am well aware of that, but they should be. I mean if we were going to put Clinton on trial for lying about a BJ we should be threaten those two with trials at the Haig. It won't happen however, it won't happen because America as a nation is dumb! Therefore, I am cheering for Bush. I mean, it isn't the dumb puppets fault that we are in the situation we are in. We are in the situation we are in because as a nation we are stupid! We are gluttons for punishment who only learn through the pain of our errors. You go Bush, get a new round of tax cuts. Tell the UN to go to hell again. Keep comforting those mothers regarding their dead and maimed children. Spend that money like a drunken sailor. Continue to lie and manipulate those idiots. Run that deficit up so high they can't count it. That is the only way they are going to learn! I mean, Shawn Hannity thought he was a statesman the other night because he managed to get though a 14 minute speech coherently.
I think this person made some very good points.
