1. I voted that it will be counted and then thrown away... |
|
...this "throw away" in the symbolic sense, of course. My vote for a Democrat is basically a throw away as Repugs will still continue to be elected. I believe the voting machines are certainly a major issue, but not one to be worried about much where I come from. I live in Texas. We have enough assholes here that the Repugs don't have to cheat to win elections! (Well, there was the "18181" fiasco... I guess I take that back.)

Nevada voters don't make or break elections anyway you cut it. And now those damned voting machines are being shoved down our throats sans voter-verified papertrail. SoS Dean Heller said at the public meeting this past Thursday that a decision will be made this week whether or not to require whatever vendor he goes with to include the papertrail that every single person who got up to speak demanded/asked for. He was against 'the additional cost and hastle' (<-not a quote, but paraphrase) of a VVPT in the first place, but maybe he'll actually listen to the people...

4. My vote will make it as far as Augusta.... |
|
....because we have optically scanned paper ballots, with the over- and under-vote protection turned on, and I personally know the officials responsible for holding the elections in this town of 6000.
What happens from there is up to others to decide, probably by the usual score of 5-4.

5. I will vote absentee and |
|
hope my vote will be counted. I will not vote on a repuke-o-matic machine until there is a verified paper trail. Says a lot about this country that slot machines in Vegas are better regulated than the machines we vote on.

9. absentee in PA when I am in NY |
|
I know NY will go Dem. PA can go either way but for some reason I'm certain our people in Philly will deliver a Dem. By deliver I mean there is very high probability of voter fraud helping the Dems in any Philly election. Philly and Chicago have ridiculously high voter turnouts...so are those people genuinely doing their civic duty or is it voter fraud?
Oh and here's a fact: The Democratic party of Fayette County hands out small bottles of whiskey to Democrats on election day. (under the table but it is obvious)

I live in a Republican state and my vote for President won't count thanks to the Electoral College.
It should be one person, one vote: All votes are counted and all votes are equal.

in the general election and no in the primaries (too late in the primary system). I don't think the machine issue will be there because it will be addresssed.
