1. Was Clark dismissed?
That whole exchange was bizzarre. Clark was NOT relieved of duty.

2. I saw it earlier
I loved the way that Clark would not be played by Tweety Bird. He insisted on being heard.

5. watching it now
This man makes my toes curl, the little hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He is inciting passion in me to see my country restored. He is SO smart, informed, and reasonable. I stopped looking at the other candidates the minute I learned he was running. In my opinion, there is NO ONE more qualified to pick up our broken economy and bring our men and women home.

7. The coolest part was Clark making him wait while he greeted
just about everyone in Harvard. You could see Matthews getting more and more uneasy. I thought Clark might well run out the clock on him just getting to the stage.

I don't think I've seen Matthews challenged directly so many times in one interview before. Clark even pointed out how Matthews clipped the first part of Stormin' Norman's stupid remarks to make them even dumber.

I liked it, and so did my wife.

She, by the way, has developed a sincere hatred for Matthews watching him on the screen. And you wonder why I love her?

10. Finally!
He had the chance to turn the tables on that bird. "Did you happen to see my retirement when cohen praised me?" Tweety squirmed. Did he looked scared or was it just me? I think it was really low how he brought Gert into the "letting go" discussion. Clark looked like he was lunging at him. After the break tweety pointed out that his wife was sitting next to Gert. Nice try Tweety! Clark has your number.

Chris Mathews is a joke. I did not see any of those "hardballs" thrown at Dean. Then again Dean still thinks it is the Soviet Union.

16. "it was really low how he brought Gert in"
Not to mention his stupid attempt at a pun about Tweety's wife being "to the right of Gert" or "maybe to the left".

Like he knows Gert's politics, I'm sure.

Tweety definitely felt the heat of failure.

11. When the interview
was on earlier I missed the first 10 minutes. His entrance was unbelievable! Did anyone see Tweety roll his eyes in disgust. He looked pissed off! Then the first thing he said to the General.."Well, after all of that grand campaigning you've just done here......"

Matthews is such a jerk!

9. Biggest loudest turnout for one of the Democratic candidates yet, per
Tweety himself; yes, it was great to see Clark refusing to be interrupted or baited by Matthews. Clark was pretty patient and gracious but did not let Tweety run roughshod all over him; I actually thought Matthews was a (very) little intimidated by the General.
I thought Clark did an excellent job.
And I love the music they have chosen for this...I am ready to meet the new boss!! Never was fooled in the first place *lol*

I love how the General refuses to be pushed around,
yet retains a professional and composed demeanor.
He's has so friggen many good qualities.

15. He refuses to let Tweety
interrupt him...until HE'S ready to move on. He ignored several interruptions and just kept on talking. LOVED IT!
